The Sun Coast is located on the southern coast of Andalusia, which offers tourists everything that is most often associated with Spain. The wonderful world famous cultural monuments of the Moors attract here, which main centres were Cordoba, Seville and Granada.

An amazing tourist attraction is also the nearby Gibraltar, situated just a step from Morocco, the vestibule of Africa. In Andalusia you can find everything that is the best and most interesting in Spain. Flamenco was born here, the tradition of folk entertainment and fetes originate from here, even the corrida. Andalusians like to have fun, which can be seen by the annual fiestas, ferias and romerias. Wine, dancing and singing When visiting the Costa del Sol you must try sangria or malaga - a sweet, strong wine from the area of Malaga. Also Palido rum made of sugar cane is popular. It's worth going to the party in the rhythm of flamenco and take part in Feria de Abril - the greatest folklore event in Andalusia. A popular dance is of course tango. Although it originates from South America, it is very often danced in Costa del Sol, for example at international tango festivals in Malaga or Granada. Playas Perfectas This place is full of beaches - El Bajondillo, long, beautiful, wide with dark sand and a boardwalk with restaurants and cafes, wide beaches Playamar and Carihuela with great conditions for water sports, sandy, long and wide Malapesquera and La Butibamba or sandy and rocky Playa Granada and Playa Poniente. 9 km of beaches in Benalmadena, it is a beautiful promenade along the coast and water sports equipment rentals. Andalusian flavors The region is famous primarily for its simple and delicious tapas, or snacks. Ir de tapas for Spanish people is the most common pretext to meet friends, but for tourists it's a real treat - jamon ham, tortilla de patatas, a Spanish omelette with potatoes and onions, olives, cheese, anchovies, shrimps, squid and many more other delicacies. In addition to the obligatory tapas feast, it is also worth trying the porra antequerana, a Spanish cool soup served with jamon serrano ham and egg. Sometimes sunny, sometimes snowy Costa del Sol is the Coast of the Sun and in fact the sun shines here 320 days a year. Although in winter the temperature here is 18 C˚, in Sierra Nevada - in the Snowy Mountains there are excellent conditions for skiing. Ski stations belong to the highest in Europe, and the sunny slopes offer great views.
Costa Tropical neighbors with Costa del Sol, and stretches for about 103 km toward Almeria. It is one of the least built-up coasts of Spain. The region is famous for plantations of tropical fruits such as mangoes, avocados, bananas, papayas and dates. It has an exceptionally mild subcontinental climate, with an average annual temperature of almost 20°C. On average, this unique place has sunny weather 320 days a year. It is close to the snowy peaks of Sierra Nevada which rise majestically over the coast. You can ski and rest on the beach on the same day. The region’s most popular towns are: Granada – capital of the province, Almunecar – the most popular resort of Costa Tropical with the historic Arab castle called Castillo de San Miguel, Motril – the largest city of Costa Tropical with a port, sugar cane museum, tapas bars, restaurants and charming beaches. The attraction of the region is a local delicacy made from sugar cane - Pálido rum.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel (applies to the ITAKA SMART offer) At the airport in the destination, an ITAKA representative is waiting for you, who will indicate the booked transfer (bus, bus or car), taking you to the hotel where you will spend your holiday. Gibraltar — the 6 km-long peninsula was once a place of international conflicts, therefore, it has a very turbulent and rich history. After reaching Gibraltar, the Rock Tour with a guide. The program includes: minibus drive around the Victorian streets of Gibraltar to the Europa Point lighthouse, with a magnificent view of Morocco, a visit to the Cave of St. Michael and a meeting with Gibraltar macaques. At the end, a drive next to the old, Mauritanian castle. Return to the city, free time (approx. 3 hours). The program includes numerous monuments, a huge Mosque-Cathedral and the Jewish part of the city La Juderia with a synagogue. Path of the King — trekking around Caminito del Rey, a scenic route along the mighty limestone walls of the canyon of the River Guadalhorce in Desfiladero de los Gaitanes National Park. The trail was officially opened in 1921 by King Alfonso XIII. After many years it was renovated and made available for tourists. The route runs at a height of approx. 100 m, the cliffs rise to 700 m. The total length of the trail is 8 km, of which approx. 3 km is a route along bridges over a gorge. Thanks to the renovation and security features, it can be overcome by people without experience in climbing. Half-day trip, for guests over 8 y.o. Granada — a trip through scenic landscapes, drowning in Andalusian sunshine, straight to Granada, the longest existing Arab kingdom in Spain. The city was made famous, among others, by Alhambra, as well as the beautifully maintained gardens of Generalife. Day trip. Ronda — the route of the trip runs through mountain areas to the white town suspended in clouds - Ronda, one of the most interesting cities of Andalusia, divided by the El Tajo canyon and connected by the bridge of cultures. Morocco — Romans, Arabs, Portuguese, English and French all tried to conquer the mysterious lands of the Kingdom of Morocco. Today, it is enough to sail 14 km of the Strait of Gibraltar to touch the ground of a different continent and reach Tetuan - a city in Arabian style of a completely different culture.
