"Where there is no wine lacking, the sorrows and worries do not go" – this is Costa Brava, the land of wine and sun. From long sandy beaches through romantic bays concealing the true nature of the Wild Coast, to vibrant resorts and the cosmopolitan Barcelona. Costa Brava Coast - the sympol of the Spanish province of Catalonia, extends for a length of approx. 200 km from the border with France to Barcelona.

The Mediterranean climate guarantees more than 300 sunny days during the year, hot days and pleasant nights. Costa Brava, called the Swimming Pool of Europe, visited by crowds of tourists, also has as yet unexplored areas. The coastline conceals two faces - the wild North and mild south. The part of the coast called Costa del Maresme; it is a section that comprises an almost fifty-kilometer sandy beach. A train and seaside boardwalk run along it, which link the tourist destinations: Lloret de Mar, Santa Susana, Malgrat de Mar and Calellę. Beautiful, wide beaches are flagship of this part of Costa Brava. In Lloret de Mar you can choose from among popular beaches with developed infrastructure and watersport centres or the more intimate and hidden beaches. It is worth visiting the beach Fenals distinguished by the Blue Flag certificate, which guarantees the highest quality of water cleanliness and safety. The destination is also famous for its numerous clubs and developed entertainment infrastructure, so it will be to the taste of enthusiasts of the night life. The greatest historical and cultural attraction is undoubtedly the capital of Catalonia - Barcelona. Wonderful Spanish Palace and works of Antonio Gaudi entered onto the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List: Sagrada Familia and Park Güell are some of the many places that have to be seen. Also a walk along La Rambla, the most famous alley in Barcelona leading to the port will provide unforgettable memories. The Costa Brava coast offers more than just golden beaches and night entertainment, it also lets you fall in love with the terrific Catalan cuisine, one of the best in the region of the Mediterranean Sea. This part of Spain is dominated by seafood, fish and fresh vegetables prepared in a variety of ways. Meat lovers will be delighted by local beef and lamb, as well as the traditionally-made sausages - fuet. Before the main meal, it is worth trying the traditional Pa amb tomàquet - bread with tomato paste. Finally, you can't forget about the Catalan sparkling wine Cava, is produced by traditional methods and tastes great on hot days.
