It combines Playa de las Americas with the traditional Los Cristianos and the elegant Playa del Duque. The beaches of dark volcanic sand gently descend into the ocean. A much quieter than Playa de las Americas is its district Costa Adeje, particularly recommended for family holidays. There is a nice beach and boardwalk with bars and restaurants. Equally magnificent beaches are located in Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes. Playa de la Arena beach is distinguished here with a natural, completely black sand.
