Hotel 5-gwiazdkowy - tak opisywany w informatorze ITAKA. Moim zdaniem Grand Oasis oraz Oasis powinny być wycofane z oferty. Myślę, że Polaków stać na nieco droższe wakacje i otrzymać wyższy standard Hotelu. Tym bardziej że stanowi od duży kontrast do Hoteli położonych w kierunku Playa Del Carmen. Chciałbym kiedyś ponownie odwiedzić półwysep Yucatan i mieć możliwość wypoczęcia w naprawdę dobrym Hotelu.

Hotel Grand Oasis Cancun to bardzo ciekawa propozycja na miejsce spędzenia urlopu w Meksyku. Podstawowymi zaletami są tu na pewno piękny, olbrzymi ogród z wieloma gatunkami zwierząt i roślin oraz przepyszne, różnorodne jedzenie. Hotel dość duży, wielu gości, ale potrawy, w szczególności podawane w restauracjach a'la carte, wyszukane, przygotowywane z taką starannością, smakiem i dopracowaniem jak w drogich restauracjach dla klienta indywidualnego. Jeśli chodzi o standard to jednak ciężko porównywać te 5 gwiazdek z normami europejskimi oczywiście tu należałoby się 'czepiać' tylko detali (kilka rzucających się w oczy niedociągnięć typu widoczne tu i ówdzie usterki, niestaranność wykonania niektórych dekoracji, elementów wykończeniowych), które tak naprawdę nie psują pozytywnego odbioru hotelu jako całości. Z zaskakujących i nieoczekiwanych plusów to także darmowy minibar w pokoju.

Hotel przeżył swoje, pokoje pozstawiają wiele do życzenia standard 2 gwiazdki europejskie. Ogromny plus to wyżywienie duża ilość restauracji z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem i ciekawym programem rozrywkowym. Polecam odwiedzić wszystkie restauracje każda ma inny i niepowtarzalny styl(hamburgery zostawcie dla amerykanów). Hotel stosunkowo głośny - jest w nim dużo młodych ludzi któży imprezują. Basen, zieleń i plaża przepiekna. Osobom ceniącym luksus zdecydowanie odradzam. Pozostałym polecam.
