Na plaży w cenie sprzęt wodny - kajaki, małe katamarany żaglowe do wypożyczenia za darmo. Również darmowy, o bardzo dobrej jakości, dostęp do bezprzewodowego internetu. W głównym barze w lobby praktycznie wszystkie światowe oryginalne alkohole, wystarczy zapytać, także bezpłatne.

Zalety: położenie nad samym Morzem Karaibskim, pięknie zagospodarowana plaża z mnóstwem wolnych leżaków o każdej porze dnia, molo, możliwość zjedzenia kolacji na brzegiem morza (za dopłatą), mnóstwo restauracji tematycznych gdzie jest serwowane wysokiej jakości jedzenie, obsługa kelnerska na najwyższym światowym poziomie (brak konieczności rezerwacji w porze kolacji), animacje na bardzo wysokim poziomie - w centrum konferencyjnym, na plaży, wokół basenu, hucznie obchodzony Dzień Świętego Patryka (kolacja dla wszystkich gości hotelowych na wolnym powietrzu, przywitanie przez zarząd hotelu, najlepszej jakości alkohole, występy sceniczne), 2 sklepy z pamiątkami, sklep z cygarami, jubiler, kantor i klinika, 4 baseny (z czego tylko 2 dostępne dla gości spoza Preferred Clubu), hotel bardzo czysty i zadbany, piękna tropikalna roślinność. Opcja AI zawiera w cenie codziennie uzupełniany mini bar, sejf i wifi na terenie całego hotelu Hotel posiada jednak dwie wady: stare, zatęchłe, wymagające pilnego remontu pokoje (przyznawane Polakom), które niestety nie były sprzątane codziennie, brak ręczników w łazience. Monotonne i niesmaczne jedzenie w restauracji głównej. Z przyjemnością byśmy tam wrócili, ale BP Itaka powinno oferować opcję Preferred Clubu aby podczas rezerwacji można było mieć wybór| opcji droższej (z dostępnymi wszystkimi basenami i lepszymi pokojami, które w przeciwieństwie do pokoi w ofercie regularnej są naprawdę Delux).

Hotel ładny, w standardowych pokojach był bardzo nieprzyjemny zapach stęchlizny, uniemożliwiający normalny pobyt. Konieczna była dopłata w wysokości 75US$ na dobę za pokój o wyższym standardzie. Po za tym było ok. Rezydent bardzo się starał niestety nie miał wpływu na przydzielone nam pokoje. Proponuję rozszerzenie oferty na pokoje o wyższym standardzie. Lot był mocno opóźniony. Powiadomienie o tym fakcie SMS, odbieram pozytywnie.

Kompleks hotelowy składa się z kilku dwupiętrowych budynków. Otoczone są one piękną roślinnością, do poszczególnych miejsc prowadzą zadbane alejki, główna alejka jest przyjemnie zadaszona, co daje dodatkowy komfort, gdy jesteśmy zmęczeni słońcem. Wieczorami otoczenie jest delikatnie oświetlane różnego rodzaju lampkami, a z głośników ukrytych w skałkach płynie relaksacyjna muzyka. Wszystko jest czyściutkie i zadbane, przez cały dzień pracownicy hotelowi czyszczą, zamiatają i nawet malują alejki, co jednak w żaden sposób nie utrudnia gościom przemieszczania się. Pokój hotelowy jest duży, z balkonem. Do dyspozycji gości w każdym pokoju jest sprzęt do przygotowania sobie kawy lub herbaty, mała lodówka, w której jest piwo, woda i napoje gazowane (po kilka butelek), codziennie braki są uzupełniane i to wszystko dostępne jest nieodpłatnie. Można również skorzystać z sejfu - również bez dodatkowych opłat. Jest nawet deska do prasowania i żelazko. Równie dobre jest wyposażenie łazienki: suszarka do włosów, szampon, żel pod prysznic, mydło, mleczko do ciała, jednorazowy czepek. Ręczniki wymieniane są codziennie. Panie codziennie sprzątają pomieszczenia. W czasie pobytu w La Romana nikt nie będzie chodził głodny czy spragniony. Główna restauracja World cafe oferuje ogromny wybór potraw w postaci szwedzkiego stołu, do jedzenia można zamówić wodę, piwo, kawę, herbatę, wino. Na terenie jest kilka restauracji a la carte, gdzie można zjeść posiłek z kuchni np. dominikańskiej, włoskiej, itp. Kawiarnia z pyszną dominikańską kawą, ciastami, ciasteczkami, jogurtem, kanapkami czynna jest 24 godz. na dobę. Hol przy recepcji wieczorami jest miejscem spotkań towarzyskich, w czasie których można raczyć się różnymi drinkami, do koloru i smaku. Fantastyczny basen, przez środek którego można przejść na drugą stronę bez zanurzania się w wodzie, przy brzegu można wstawić leżak i korzystać z kąpieli słonecznej lub będąc w wodzie do połowy popijać drinki w basenowym barze. Piaszczysta plaża wyposażona w wystarczającą liczbę leżaków, ręczniki plażowe pobieramy i oddajemy tego samego dnia, aby następnego wypożyczyć czysty. Można wypożyczyć kajaki, katamaran, łódź motorową. Na terenie kompleksu znajduje się spa (odpłatnie) i siłownia (bezpłatnie). W czasie naszego pobytu zorganizowano cztery wycieczki. Polecam, zwłaszcza tę na wyspę Saona. Mieliśmy fantastyczną panią przewodnik - Małgorzatę , dzięki opowieściom której dowiedzieliśmy się dużo ciekawostek o Dominikanie. Pani Gosia troszczyła się o nas, dbała, abyśmy byli zadowoleni, to właściwy człowiek na właściwym miejscu.

Wspaniały hotel, wszystko doskonale zorganizowane, tak aby zapewnić dobry wypoczynek. Wydawana codziennie hotelowa gazetka zapewnia pełną informację co w danym dniu dzieje się w hotelu - z podaną godziną, miejscem i rodzajem animacji. Animacje przez cały dzień i wieczorem w różnych miejscach- przy basenie, na plaży, w teatrze hotelowym. Wspaniale zorganizowane na plaży wieczory tematyczne - łącznie z przeniesioną restauracją i pełną kolacją, połączoną z koncertem i tańcami. Po raz pierwszy spotkaliśmy się z taką formą urozmaicenia pobytu. Pokój przestronny, z małym aneksem - dostępny ekspres do kawy (oczywiście z uzupełnianą na bieżąco kawą), mini barek (w cenie). Pokój codziennie sprzątany. W okresie, w którym byliśmy ręczniki wymieniane były dwa razy dziennie. Na terenie całego hotelu, także na plaży darmowy dostęp do internetu. Świetne wyżywienie (opcja all) - kuchnia międzynarodowa , każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie i nie jest w stanie nawet spróbować wszystkich dań - ze względu na ich dużą różnorodność| na plaży świeże owoce, grill, bar z napojami, w pobliżu pizzeria i kawiarnia ze wspaniałą kawą, gorącą czekoladą, ciastami i tortami. Hotel piękny, zadbany, bardzo duży wybór jedzenia- od restauracji ze szwedzkim stołem poprzez azjatycką, włoską i francuską. Plaże bajeczne jakby wyjęte z najlepszych katalogów z podróżami, tak zwany prawdziwy raj na ziemi. Polecam wszystkim, nawet najbardziej wymagającym klientom sprosta oczekiwaniom. Obsługa bardzo miła, zawsze uśmiechnięta, drinki donoszone na plażę Jeśli nie chce się jechać na żadną wycieczkę to tak naprawdę trzeba mieć tylko 10$ na wize lokalną a tak poza tym wszystko w cenie. Napewno tam jeszcze wrócę wraz z rodziną. Wakacje na najwyższym poziomie. Prawdziwa Bajka i Raj na ziemi co jest zasługą także obsługi hotelowej.
