The sensual atmosphere of Zakynthos and kindness of the island's residents have created ideal conditions for spending holidays there.

Breathtaking views – standing over a cliff, we have a precipice under our feet. Wherever you look there is the emerald green sea and blue sky, everything intersected by the sharp contour of gray-white rocks. Between them a little patch of a distant beach whitens, and on it a magical shipwreck. This is the flagship of this wonderful island, which is a must see. It's worth coming here for the streets filled with quiet and heat, where elderly people sit in front of houses, and pigeons occupy the old bell towers, for the late afternoon soaked with light, which blurs the boundaries between the sky and sea, for the simplest dishes, like a piece of sheep's cheese with bread and olive oil. And for the retsina - a wine seasoned with resin, which tastes so great only here. The noisiest, literally and metaphorically, tourist centre of the island is Laganas, by a bay of the same name, with a 5-km sandy beach, which is part of the National Marine Park. It is here that every year turtles lay their eggs and that is why certain sections of the beach are closed to tourists, and certain sport activities are prohibited. The best clubs, bars and discos on the island are in Laganas, popular among amateurs of the nightlife. There are plenty of taverns and restaurants here: from the traditional Greek to Italian, Chinese, Indian and typical fast-food places. Many shops do not differ in assortment from the best in the capital. Tsilive is enjoying increasing popularity - a small, but lively tourist resort with a beautiful sandy beach distinguished by the Blue Flag certificate with a rich offer of watersports. The cafes, bars and pubs lure you, it is worth visiting traditional Greek taverns. There are many attractions here for tourists of all ages: Fantasy Mini-Golf courts, Bowl'm Over amusement centre with pool tables and bowling alleys, Luna Fun Park and the Marine Museum. Argassi is located only 4 kilometres from the island's capital. The destination offers sandy beaches and clean sea waters. The best taverns of the island and Greek night clubs have their headquarters here. The destination is an ideal starting point for visiting the beautiful beaches of Vasilikos peninsula - Banana, Gerakas and Porto Roma. Near Argassi begins the trekking route to Skopos, the highest elevation of the Vasilikos Peninsula, where in antiquity was the Temple of Artemis.

Kalamaki is a small tourist resort best known for its wonderful, wide beaches, which are the breeding places of the Caretta Caretta turtles. Quieter than its neighbour Laganas, it is the perfect place for those seeking tranquility or families with children.

City of Zakynthos by night — departure from the hotel in the late afternoon to the island's capital - Zakynthos. Drive along the port. The programme includes a walk through the old town, free time for shopping. Return to the hotel in the evening. Price - approx. 20 EUR.

Around the island — a fascinating excursion, which lets you explore the most beautiful places of the island. The programme begins from a visit to the Aristeon olive oil factory in Lithakia. Another point is a visit to a small family winery Gramzas, which includes a presentation of the methods of wine production in the past and today, as well as wine tasting. Then drive through the picturesque mountain villages: Kiliomeno, Agios Leon and Maries, time for photos. On the route is the oldest olive tree in Zakynthos and Anafonitria - the place where today the Greeks themselves pump oil, produce honey and collect herbs - an opportunity to taste and purchase. Another attraction is the panoramic view of the Wreck Gulf with the famous Navagio beach, which can be seen from the platform at the top of the cliff. Then drive in the direction of the port of Agios Nikolaos. Cruise to the Blue Caves, time for lunch in a traditional Greek tavern. Caretta caretta cruise — a cruise on a modern boat with a glass bottom over Laganas bay and along the wild, southern ends of the island of Zakynthos. The opportunity to watch the famous Caretta Caretta sea turtles in their natural habitat, and Europe's largest breeding place. During the cruise, stop for swimming near the mysterious caves of Keri, on an inaccessible coast full of cliffs, wild beaches and rock blocks. Navagio Cruise — transfer by coach towards the port in Zakynthos, and then a boat cruise to the famous Navagio beach located on the north-western side of Zakynthos. During the cruise you can admire the cape Skinari and the Blue Grottos located nearby - time for swimming near them. Then a stay at Xigia beach, which, thanks to the presence of cold sulfur waters is considered to be the only natural spa on the island. Olympus — the largest sanctuary of Zeus in ancient Greece, now associated mainly with the Olympics. Sports competitions, which took place here for nearly 12 centuries, were not only rivalry, but also an expression of worship for the highest of the gods, and significantly influenced the development of art and culture. Visiting the Archaeological Museum with works of Phidias and Praxiteles, a visit to the Olympic Stadium.
