Chalkidiki Peninsula, east of Thessaloniki, has a distinctive "three-toed" shape which is formed by three narrow branches: Kassandra, Sitonia and Athos. This is the most popular holiday destination of the residents of Thessaloniki, and for several years also of many tourists from all over Europe. It is famous for its lush vegetation, many beautiful sandy beaches, pine forests and crystal clear sea.

Kassandra - the first toe of the peninsula, on its west coast we can find peace and quiet nooks, a view extends from here on Mount Olympus. The east coast is a more developed tourist destination, it has to offer a little more taverns, shops and evening entertainment. Athos - the third toe of the peninsula is famous for its Theocratic Republic of Monks and beautiful monastic complexes. At the start of the toe is the charming town of Ouranoupoli - the so-called the last secular city on the Athos Peninsula. This is where tourist cruises begin their trips along the peninsula. The town has preserved its Greek charm and atmosphere, we will also find in it charming taverns and beautiful sandy beaches. We recommend Kassandra to all those who associate holidays with relaxing by the sea, sunbathing and entertainment. The wide range of possibilities of spending time causes that this region has for years been enjoying a great interest of tourists. The diversity of Chalkidiki can be found also in the regional cuisine. Fans of seafood will taste moules served here in tomato and red pepper sauce - this is a specialty of the northern part of the peninsula. Siviri pine forests provide resin that is added to the local wine Retsina. You might want to go to the local market, where you can purchase specialties of the Greek cuisine. On the west coast of the peninsula there is the town of Siviri – peaceful and secluded, you can find romantic corners, relax on the sandy beach and try Greek dishes in taverns right next to the sea Possidi is a small and peaceful town, which is famous for its nice beaches and crystal clear sea, as well as a gorgeous view of the shores of the Gulf of Thermaikos In Kriopigi - a small traditional Greek village surrounded by green hills with stone pine forests and olive tree groves, we will find a few taverns and pubs where you can enjoy delicious food.

Sand and shingle beaches and blue water invites you to rest, this is an ideal place for those looking for peace and quiet. Sani is again golden beaches, luxury hotels by the shore of the Aegean Sea and surfing delight. This small former fishing village quickly turned into a paradise for tourists. Sani is a luxurious, picturesque and peaceful spot. Perfect holidays for all who wish to rest surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is close from here to the lively bars, clubs and discos. Peukochori is a small resort with many shops and taverns, where in the evenings in bars the night life thrives, and on the beach there are rentals with water equipment and diving centres.
