Shëngjin – or San Giovanni di Medua in Italian, is the fastest developing resort in northern Albania. The town an port are located at the foot of Rrenci hill, offering a marvelous view. Shëngjin has fantastic, sandy beaches with a gentle descent to the sea, which are perfect for families. Places worth visiting in the neighborhood include the Kune Vain reserve, where numerous species of birds can be found - such as gray herons, cormorants or wigeons.

Pilot: tourists are looked after by a Polish resident, whose tasks include help upon arrival, departure and stay, as well as registration for local trips.

Visas: not required. Passport/ID must be valid a minimum of 3 months from the date of return to Poland.

Durres and the cognac factory — the trip begins with a visit to Torra in Durres - the Venetian Tower, which was a part of the city's defensive walls since the fifteenth century. Then a visit to an amphitheater built in the 2nd century AD with a chapel with mosaics and the Archaeological Museum located on the seashore. A drive to "Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu” distillery, one of the largest in Albania, operating since 1933. An opportunity to taste the famous cognac, known for its high quality and unique taste. Half-day trip. Price - approx. 30 EUR, children up to 12 years old - approx. 15 EUR (includes: entry ticket to distillery, tasting).

Kruja, Tirana and Dajti mountain — a visit to the town of Kruja. Visiting the castle and the old town. Transfer to the area of Tirana. Drive via the only gondola lift to the top of Dajti in Albania. Free time in Dajti National Park. Then, drive to the capital of Albania - Tirana. Exploring the bustling city, full of contrasts. On the route, among others: Skanderbeg Square, the mosque Ethem Bey, the famous clock tower, the pyramid Hoxha and the main boulevard of the city. Free time for an individual stroll around the centre of Tirana. Day trip. Price - approx. 38 EUR, children up to 12 years old - approx. 18 EUR.

Szkodra and Lezhe — a visit to the town of Szkodra, located at the shore of a lake of the same name. Free time or a visit to the Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum located in a traditional wooden building typical of the region. Then, exploring one of the biggest Balcan cathedrals and the old city. The next point in the agenda is the Rozafat stronghold and the town of Lezhe with the vault of the Albanian national hero - Skanderbeg. Day trip. Price - approx. 30 EUR, children up to 12 years old - approx. 18 EUR (does not include entry ticket to the Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum).

A cruise on Komani Lake — the fascinating trip starts with a visit to the towns of Vau and Dejës. Then, a cruise on Komani Lake - with a chance to experience some beautiful views. Day trip. Price - approx. 40 EUR, children up to 12 years old - approx. 20 EUR.

A jeep trip around Theth — a trip to a unique place in the north of Albania. Jeep ride across the river in a picturesque valley. Drive through Shkodra and then to the village of Theth with the tower of Kulla, which served men as a shelter from family revenge. Stroll to the canyon and waterfall Grunas (approx. 20 min.). This beautiful waterfall is considered a natural monument and is under protection. Free time for lunch. For volunteers (depending on the free time): walking tour (approx. 40 min.) to the magnificent "Blue Eye". The spring originated as a result of the erosion of the cliff by the Buna River, creating numerous bathing areas and waterfalls. “Blue Eye" is one of the most beautiful springs in the Balkans. Return to the hotel by jeep. Day trip. Price - approx. 70 EUR (does not include: entry ticket to “Blue Eye”, lunch).
