By choosing Alanya, you have the greatest choice: deserved holidays and laziness in the hotel, family holidays in club hotels, group excursions or on your own, extreme sports and watersports, or partying till the wee hours of the morning, to add to this very interesting local trips. Alanya is a large city, with a great number of places worth seeing. On an "individualist" day you can walk around the green parks with fountains, visit the great cave, climb the huge fortress, from where extends a magnificent view, and also do some shopping. On a "crazy" day you can take advantage of the wide range of watersports offered, play tennis or go bungee jumping, or go rafting or Jeep safari to feel adrenaline in the veins. While at night you simply have to test your dancing skills in the countless disco and clubs, where parties last until the early morning. On "veteran" day simply relax on the beach or at the hotel and not let the passionate waiters rest for even a moment, particularly in all inclusive hotels. Finally, on "explorer" day, go on a great trip, at least of one of the most beautiful miracles of nature on Earth – Cappadocia.

ALANYA

Najpopularniejsza miejscowość Riwiery Tureckiej, z niezliczoną ilością hoteli i mnóstwem atrakcji turystycznych, położona około 120 km na wschód od Antalyi. Słynny kurort otaczają góry Taurus z północy, z południa zaś ciepłe wody Morza Śródziemnego. Miasto posiada bogata historię, w której losy wplątani są Grecy, Rzymianie, Turcy Seldżuccy, a także piraci, którzy mieli tu swoją bazę wypadową. Alanya to spore miasto, z dużą ilością miejsc wartych zobaczenia. Można tu spacerować po zielonych parkach z fontannami, zwiedzić wielką jaskinię, wdrapać się na potężną twierdzę, skąd rozpościera się wspaniały widok, a przy okazji zrobić olbrzymie zakupy. Można skorzystać z szerokiej gamy sportów wodnych, pograć w tenisa czy skoczyć na bungie, a może udać się na zwariowany rafting czy jeep safari by poczuć adrenalinę we krwi, za to w nocy koniecznie sprawdzić swoje umiejętności taneczne w niezliczonych dyskotekach i klubach, gdzie zabawa trwa do białego rana. Atrakcje turystyczne: Zamek z murami obronnymi, Czerwona Wieża, Wieża Arsenałowa, Muzeum Historyczne i Etnograficzne, Jaskinia Damlataş, Jaskinia DIM oraz Kanion Dim Cay.

KARABURUN

To mała wioska, położna niemal 90 km od lotniska w Antalyi. Warto odwiedzić ją głównie ze względu na pobliskie ruiny starożytnego miasta Dgastiniano. Swoje ówczesne znaczenie miasto zawdzięcza portowi, który dzisiaj znajduje się pod ziemią.

AVSALLAR

Miejscowość wypoczynkowa, leżąca ok. 20 km od Alanyi. Słynie z dobrych restauracji i dużej ilości sklepów, także z pamiątkami. Wielowiekowa historia miasta sprawia jednak, że bez problemu turysta odnajdzie tu także zabytki pochodzące z czasów Cesarstwa Rzymskiego.

Pilot: tourists are looked after by a Polish resident, whose tasks include help upon arrival, departure and stay, as well as registration for local trips.

Visa: required; tourist visa is valid 90 days for a period of 180 days (the visa entitles you to repeatedly cross the border); to obtain a visa, your passport must meet the following requirements:
- validity at entrance: 60 days from the date of expiry of the visa
- at least one blank page

A tourist visa must be obtained through the E-visa system (https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/; cost: 20 USD/person). It is also possible to purchase a visa upon arrival in Turkey at sales points at border crossing points (cost respectively: 30 USD/25 EUR/20 GBP/person, payable in cash). It is recommended to purchase visas via the electronic system. When crossing the Turkish border the person entering may be asked to submit valid medical insurance (for Itaka Customers it is the travel document that contains the insurance certificate no.) or proof of means of subsistence.
Temporary passport holders cannot obtain a visa in the E-visa system or at the border.

Language: Turkish; communication in English is also possible, more and more frequently in Polish.

Currency: 1 Turkish lira; 1 EUR = 2.4 lira.

Tips: the rule applies that you give as much as you can afford. Earnings in Turkey are low and tips are often a great financial help. It is a custom to tip drivers on local trips and waiters - approx. 5-10%.

Prices: SIDE: beer – approx. 1.5 EUR, lunch – approx. 8 EUR; ALANYA: beer – approx. 2 EUR (in discos at the port approx. 4 EUR), lunch – approx. 10 EUR; KEMER: beer – approx. 2 EUR, lunch – approx. 10 EUR.

Air-conditioning: turned on only in the warmest months, from June to September. It often operates for more than half a day, because it is assumed that guests will spend most of the day outside the hotel. In some hotels air-conditioning is individually steered, so it can function 24h.

All Inclusive: in Turkey All Inclusive offers usually cover only meals and local drinks in limited hours, usually from 10.00 to 23.00. Any extra benefits like sports, safety deposit boxes, massages, saunas, and even the mini-bar are additionally payable. Aside from imported drinks, freshly squeezed juices and Turkish coffee are additionally payable. All Inclusive does not include the beach, unless it has been indicated otherwise in the hotel description.

Transport: operates very efficiently and is inexpensive; even from hotels far from the city centre it is easy to get there by dolmus, or local mini-bus. Fare price is approx. 1 EUR for 15 km. Taxis are equipped with meters. Prices are the same everywhere, 1 km costs approx. 1 EUR.

Beaches: Generally entry to beaches is free, you only pay for renting sunbeds and umbrellas, the fee depends on the beach; the most expensive is Cleopatra's Beach (approx. 5 EUR); the eastern beach in Alanya and in Side is cheaper (approx. 3 EUR).

Noteworthy: in Turkey the rule is that you cannot bring any drinks or fruit bought outside the hotel into room; in a tropical climate food spoils quite quickly, and insect may appear.

Local trips: organised by local tourist agencies on terms specified by them. There is a possibility, that if there are too few participants, a trip may be cancelled.

Cappadocia (2 days) - magical land in the heart of Turkey. A miracle of nature, post-volcanic and moon-like landscapes.
