2. DAY. HANOI
Arrival in Hanoi. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation. Sightseeing: the Temple of Literature, a rickshaw tour of the old town, which is teeming with life from morning until late in the evening. A visit to the Ngoc Son temple and a walk by Lake Hoan Kiem. The green areas around the lake are an oasis for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the evening, a puppet theater show on the water. This theatrical form has over a thousand years of tradition. The mirror of water is the stage for dolls carved out of wood. Dinner at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. SAPA - FANSIPAN
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Drive to SAPA, a mountain town that is home to numerous tribes. The Sapa is surrounded by the Hoang Lien Son mountains with the highest peak in Vietnam, Fansipan (approx. 3143 m above sea level). Hotel accommodation. Then lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to the phenomenal Thac Bac waterfall (Silver Waterfall). Continue back to town via the O Qui Ho Pass with stunning views of the dazzling mountains and valleys. A visit to the local market. Free time for shopping or the possibility of participating in an optional excursion (at an additional cost on site): ascent by the longest and highest cable car in the world to the top of the FANSIPAN mountain, known as the roof of Indochina. There is an amazing landscape from the top, full of lush greenery and subtropical vegetation. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
4. DAY. TA VAN - GIANG TA CHAI BAMBOO FOREST
Breakfast. Drive to Lao Chai, then hike through a picturesque region full of rice fields, passing traditional Black Hmong houses on the way to the village of TA VAN (approx. 4 km) inhabited by the Giay minority. Free time. Then a visit to the GIANG TA CHAI BAMBOO FOREST, the area of which is inhabited by the Red Dao people. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
5. DAY. LAO CAI - HANOI
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to one of the local markets. Depending on the day, they are held in different villages (on Sunday, Bac Ha Market). An opportunity to go shopping and meet various ethnic minorities. It is an amazing experience where you can observe the daily life of local communities. Free time. Dinner in a regional restaurant. Transfer to LAO CAI train station. Overnight transfer to HANOI (4-person sleeping compartments).
DAY 6. HAI PHONG - THE HA LONG BAY
Arrival in Hanoi. Breakfast at a local restaurant. Drive through the port town of HAI PHONG, where the Du Hang Pagoda and the Kenh Temple are located, to the area of HA LONG BAY with a magnificent scenery of karst islands with original shapes growing out of the water, inscribed on the UNESCO list. Embarkation on a ship. A cruise on the bay will provide many wonderful experiences. Here you can enjoy fascinating views: fancy islets, surrounding villages and fishing harbors. The landscape is dominated by water and wind carved limestone peaks emerging from the sea. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.
7th DAY. HOA LU
Breakfast. Ok. in the afternoon, disembarkation and transfer to HOA LU - the ancient capital of Vietnam from the 10th century and the Dinh dynasty. A visit to two temples approx. 500 m apart: King Le and King Dinh. There are perfectly preserved stone or wood carvings with motifs of dragons, fairies and floral ornaments. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight.
8th DAY. TAM COC - MAI CHAU
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. A visit to the Buddhist Bich Dong Pagoda, consisting of 3 unconnected buildings located on the hillside. Transfer to the vicinity of the village of TAM COC, where the sampans cruise begins up the Ngo Dong River, flowing through the caves. Upstream, the landscape becomes more and more striking, with vertical crags rising along both banks. Then drive along the scenic route to MAI CHAU, a green valley surrounded by spectacular limestone mountains and rice fields. Accommodation at the lodge. Overnight.
9. DAY. MAI CHAU
Breakfast. Visiting the MAI CHAU Valley: Walk to the nearby villages of Lac and Pom Coong, which are inhabited by a Thai ethnic minority. Surrounded by green mountains and embedded in rice fields, they are a great place to escape from everyday life. Return to the lodge. Free time to explore the area. Overnight.
10. DAY. HANOI
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Hanoi airport. Departure to Poland.
