Na terenie całego hotelu i w okół, najważniejsza jest przepiękna przyroda. Reszta, tzn. obsługa, wyposażenie, porządek nie powinno być ważne, choć swoim luzem, do otoczenia pasowało. :-)

Hotel nie zasługuje na 4*. Najsłabszym punktem jest jadalnia. Nie jest to restauracja, tak jak było to napisane w katalogu i w ofercie na stronie internetowej Biura. Jadalnia była brudna, (...)
Hotel nie zasługuje na 4*. Najsłabszym punktem jest jadalnia. Nie jest to restauracja, tak jak było to napisane w katalogu i w ofercie na stronie internetowej Biura. Jadalnia była brudna, stoliki kleiły się, były zanieczyszczone przez odchody ptaków. Nie było zabezpieczenia przed ich wlatywaniem. Również po jadalni chodziły psy. W hotelu 4* obowiązują pewne normy stoliki powinny być czyste, nakryte obrusem. Często nie można było znaleźć czystego stolika i krzesła. Niejednokrotnie/często samemu trzeba było wytrzeć stolik i krzesła. Warunki sanitarne na jadalni są nie do przyjęcia. Jadłodalnia nie miała zabezpieczenia przd ptakami. Może to jest normalne dla tubylców lecz dla nas jest to nie do przyjęcia. Pokoje miały może kiedyś wystrój stylowy, lecz czasy świetności to przeżytek. Stoliki przy łóżkach ledwo trzymają się ścian. Klimatyzacja w hotelu, w naszym pokoju nie działała skutecznie. Zgłoszenie jakiś usterek było utrudnione ze względu na brak znajomości j.angielskiego przez obsługę hotelową (jedynie 2 osoby ale na poziomie bardzo podstawowym). Ręczniki i pościel, choć codziennie były wymieniane, to ich czystość nie raz budziła wątpliwość. Często była szara, postrzępiona(może kiedyś była biała). Miało się wrażenie, że były one tylko odświeżone np. przeparowane. Sama czystość pokoju była na poziomie zadawalającym. Baseny zgodne z ofertą. Jednakże w czasie naszego pobytu, w 2 tygodniu jeden basen został całkowicie wyłączony z użytku. Nie tylko spuszczono wodę ale go remontowano/naprawiano. Drugi nie był na bieżąco czyszczony. Zalecano spłukanie się pod prysznicem przed wejściem do basenu lecz niestety z prysznicy (2 szt.) woda ledwie co leciała. Położenie odpowiadało ofercie. Hotel położony w pięknym zielonym lasku palmowym, ładnie utrzymanym. Plaża czysta, szeroka. Niestety leżaki na plaży powinny być już dawno wymienione. Ich wygląd - brudne, zapadnięte nie zachęcały aby z nich korzystać. Samo wyżywienie było dobre, niestety małem obiekcie co do ich przygotowywania. Moja rodzina, jak również i inni miała problemy żołądkwo-jelitowe. Trochę warzyw mogło być na śniadanie. Animacje nie były na najlepszym poziomie. Puszczanie na basenie cały czas jednej muzyki i do tego tak głośno, że nie można było porozmawiać to nie jest to czego oczekiwałem. Miała być gimnastyka w wodzie, a sprowadzało się do nauki coś na kszałt tańców. Podczas pobytu 2- tygodniowego były 2 występy wieczorne animatorów. Spotkał nas podczas pobytu incydent, który upewnił mnie w niskiej ocenie hotelu. Była możliwość wypożyczenia m.in. piłki do siatkówki. Skorzystaliśmy z tego. Podczas gry w piłkę w basenie, w miejscu to tego przeznaczonym, wpadła ona na palmę. Po jej zdjęciu okazało się, że uchodzi z niej powietrze. Kazano nam za nią zapłacić 300 Boliwarów. Nie było z kim porozmawiać np. o regulaminie. Rezydent poproszony o wyjaśnienie tej sprawy przekazał nam wiadomość że chcą już 250 boliwarów. Zarządaliśmy na jakiej podstawie, rezydentka przekazała nam, że jeśli nie zapłacimy to nie podstwią nam łódki na odjazd. Po raz pierwszy spotkałem się z takim podejściem, ryzyko takich strat jest zawsze wliczone w cenę. Ostatecznie zapłaciliśmy i poprosiliśmy o rachunek. Sytuacja ta przesądziła o tak niskiej ogólnej ocenie. Odnosiło się wrażenie,że przedstawiciele Biura Itaka nie przebywali w tym hotelu, i dokonali jego oceny na podstawie opinii zdjęć, folderu otrzymanego od lokalnego operatora. W Polsce hotel może mieć co najwyżej 2* i tym samym cena jest zawyżona.

Czystość stołówki odbiegała od przyjętych norm. Klejące się stoły, wałęsające się bezpańskie psy. Na 14 dni pobytu kilka razy śniadanie nie na czas. Przed otwarciem stołówki było sprzątanie po kolacji ( ! ).Jedzenie bardzo monotonne. Jedzenie które przygotowywał hotel dla nas na wycieczki to była na 1 os. kanapka z serem owinięta w bibułę. Wycieczka do dżungli ( Delta-Orinoko )Zapewniał nas rezydent iż jest odpowiednia dla dzieci ( 5 lat i 9 lat ) - niestety do wejścia do dżungli Camp nie posiadał rozmiarów kaloszy. Dziecko 5 letnie poszło w rozm. 44. Proszę sobie wyobrazić jak można cieszyć się z wejśćia do dżungli jeśli dziecko co krok ' wypada' z kaloszy które sięgają po pachwiny. Nie wspomnę, ze polski rezydent był po raz pierwszy w dżungli gdzie z braku znajomości terenu p. Adam nie pokazał nam wszystkich możliwych dostępnych atrakcji wycieczki. Łodka w posiadaniu hotelu Paradise była w kiepskim stanie technicznym i niestety, zdarzyło się, że się zepsuła z pasażerami na śrdoku trasy ( Coche - Margarita)

Możliwość zwiedzenia całej wyspy za jedyne 10 USD lokalnym 'kolorowym autobusem'. Bardzo bogata oferta wycieczek fakultatywnych.

Jeep Safari - a trip to the south of the island, where there is Macanao Peninsula, characterised by a hilly, semi-desert landscape. Here is one of the greatest attractions of the island - La Restinga lagoon, which area is a national park which is home to flamingos, herons, parrots, pelicans and hawks, as well as marine species, such as sea horses and oysters. Along the coast extends the largest on the island 22-km strip of sandy beach. The programme includes a boat trip on the calm, beautiful lagoon, bathing by the beautiful Punta Arenas beach and lunch (in the afternoon hours).
