Bardzo miły hotel. Spokój w centrum miasta. Posiłki smaczne, pokoje komfortowe, jedynie jakość materacy pozostawia wiele do życzenia. W przypadku wyżywienia trzeba uważać na płatność za napoje przy kolacji. Obsługa naliczyła zbyt dużą ilość napojów dwukrotnie podczas pobytu. Kids club jest otwarty tylko w sezonie. Mimo wszystko polecam.

Hotel w bardzo dobrym miejscu w niedalekiej odległości od lotniska, otoczenie hotelu bardzo zielone, czyste, hol oraz miejsca wspólne zadbane, hotel połączony z drugim w którym znajduje się bar oraz restauracja główna. Pokoje przestronne codziennie sprzątane, łazienka czysta z wanną i kotarą prysznicową, na balkonie krzesła i stolik, balkon z widokiem na basen hotelowy. Basen wewnętrzy czysty, woda ciepła, kilka leżaków i stolików. Dużym minusem hotelu są posiłki tj. śniadania i kolacje, jedzenie bardzo mało zróżnicowane. Często brakuje potraw które były dostępne na otwarciu restauracji. Kawa z proszku, na bieżąco tylko przygotowane jajka sadzone na śniadanie reszta, podawana w bemarach mocno przesuszona. Przy kolacji mięsa wysuszone i po godzinie od otwarcia większość to pozostałości, resztki. Desery niejadalne i bardzo mały wybór, masło podawane w miskach, pokrojone, zamrożone. Miejsca w restauracji głównej przydzielane przez kelnerów.

Przede wszystkim hotel zdecydowanie nie zasługuje na 4 gwiazdki, góra 3, a właściwie to2. Nie ma podjazdu pod hotel, trzeba bagaże wciągać pod górę/!/ po bruku.! Mam duże pretensje do Itaki, że o tym nie ma w ofercie. Oczywiście nikt rozsądny nie jedzie do takiego hotelu, no może ktoś młody, który bagaż niesie 20 metrów pod górę. Nie jestem pieniaczem i nie będę się sądził, lecz uważam to za skandal, że o tak ważnych sprawach nie piszę się w ofercie. Byłem kilka razy z Itaką i nie miałem złego zdania o tym Biurze. Co się stało? Woda sodowa?, pogoń za zyskie? Nie wiem czy jeszcze pojadę z Itaką. Jestem zawiedziony i rozżalony, że nie zostałem poinformowany o tyym, co dla mnie jest bardzo ważne /mamy po ponad 70 lat z żoną/. Moze gdy Itaka zapłaci odszkodowanie za brak istotnych inforacji w ofercie, to może to coś zmieni. Czy nikt nie był tam i nie widział tego bruku/wystających kamiennych kostek/ . Byłem w wielu miejscach, lecz czegoś podobnego nie widziałem. To, że hotel ma 4 gwiazdki, nie oznacza, że jest dobry, a co najmniej należy informować o jego mankamentach w ofercie dostępnej w internecie. Ponadto hotel jest wysłużony i jedynie wspaniałe położenie i ogród pełen drzew zasługują na pozytywną ocenę.

Urzekła mnie przede wszystkim czystość. Uprzejmość na każdym kroku z personelu. Chęć niewymuszonej pomocy bez oczekiwania na napiwek. Jedzenie wyśmienite, codziennie inne. Myślę, że każdy może znaleźć dla siebie coś dobrego.

Hotel położony jest w doskonałej lokalizacji, zwłaszcza dla osób, które nie korzystają z auta i chcą codziennie spacerować do centrum Funchal lub korzystać z komunikacji miejskiej. Miejsce ma swój styl i otoczone jest piękną zielenią maderskiej roślinności. Pokoje są ok, codziennie sprzątane z wymianą ręczników. Jedzenie, zwłaszcza kolacje, bardzo urozmaicone z dużą ilością surówek i pomysłowych sałatek. Codziennie był inny rodzaj mięs i ryb. Śniadania ok (może poza jajecznicą, która nie zachęcała smakiem i wyglądem). Pyszna kawa (tylko do śniadania) z automatów Delta. Hotel ma udogodnienia w postaci basenów, jacuzzi, ale nie korzystaliśmy z nich podczas pobytu. Niewątpliwym atutem hotelu jest przemiła i uśmiechnięta obsługa. Jest to bardzo dobra opcja na wypoczynek na Maderze, biorąc pod uwagę stosunek jakości do ceny. Duże brawa dla Itaki za sprawne ogarnięcie odwołanego lotu i komunikację z rezydentem.

Doskonałe godziny posiłków, wysoki poziom czystości i obsługi. Wszyscy pracownicy znają minimum jeden język obcy. Z bogatego menu można wybrać co się lubi lub zamówić kolację z karty dań. Położenie idealne do zwiedzania wyspy.

Wyżywienie bardzo dobre , urozmaicone kolacje, minusem były płatne napoje do kolacji. Obsługa hotelu bardzo uprzejma i pomocna. Hotel doskonale usytuowany, bardzo blisko centrum Funchal . Przepiękne ogrody z pięknymi kwiatami, krzewami otaczające dwa hotele Pestana Miramar i Villge Garden. Można tu było wyszukać miejsce żeby w ciszy i spokoju np. poczytać książkę Obok hotelu ogród bananowy. Na całym, rozległym terenie czysto, codziennie pracowali ogrodnicy którzy dbali o fantastyczną roślinność. Dwa baseny zewnętrzne i jeden wewnętrzny / woda chłodna/. Obok hotelu kilka sklepów spożywczych i restauracji. Przystanek autobusowy zaraz przy hotelu. Polecam i chętnie tu wrócę.

Pokoje czyste chodź widać upływ czasu w łazience. W basenie woda raczej zimna ale dostępne są 3 i dużo miejsca na leżakach . Piękny ogród w którym można wypocząć. Jedzenie w restauracji różnie, śniadania smaczne a obiadokolacje zależy od dnia. Do śniadania są napoje bezpłatne, do obiadu już płatne ( nawet woda) . Miła obsługa. Duży obiekt z ładnym widokiem na miasto.

Owszem niektóre pokoje są umiejscowione przy ruchliwej ulicy jednak hotel jest bardzo duży jest rozbudowany do wewnątrz z pieknym widokiem na gory już zdala od ruchliwej ulicy co też ma swoje plusy _ blisko przystanki sklepy itd. Można mieć porównanie kiedy idąc w stronę wybrzeża widzimy hotel na hotelu i pełno restauracji smród z kanalizacji i spaliny. Czego w Miramar nie było!

W nocy duszno brak siatek na komary, a przy otwartych oknach jest ich bardzo dużo. Brak opieki rezydenta przy zakwaterowaniu. Jedzenie monotonne, niedosmakowane i mało urozmaicone. Nad jedzeniem i na nim masa much. Itaka nie spisała się. Roślinny i ogród w Hotelu piękny.

Visiting: the sanctuary of Our Lady on Monte hill, tropical garden with Madeira's relic endemic vegetation. The picturesque mountain road leads to the heart of the island, where from panoramic terraces of Eira do Serrado you can admire the breathtaking view of the mountain precipices. A drive to a secluded village, the Valley of the Nuns, tasting the local specialty - liqueurs with chestnut, chocolate and passion fruit flavors. The route leads to the other side of the mountain range, to Câmara de Lobos - a typical fishing village with a charming port, Winston Churchill's favourite place. Evening with fado and Madeiran folklore — dinner in a traditional restaurant comprised of specialties of the cuisine: espetada (grilled meat) with polenta (fried cornmeal), soup, salad, boiled vegetables, dessert. The dinner is accompanied by the performance of a folk band (singing and dancing, traditional instruments) and then a concert of Portuguese fado songs performed by one of the best female singers on the island. Levada — Madeira is famous for its canals, which provide every corner of the island with water from the mountains. They were built here already in the days of the first Portuguese colonizers. Along the canals many trekking routes of varying difficulty were created. Please bring: sports shoes, clothing suited to changing weather, drinks and lunch. The prices include transport and the care of an English-speaking mountain guide.
Levada Rabacal — level: average, approx. 13 km, trekking time: approx. 4 h, on the route: the high waterfall Risco and cascade "25 springs" consisting of many waterfalls, the UNESCO-protected laurel forest Laurissilva. Funchal — a visit to the city market where the inhabitants of Madeira meet. Located in the heart of the center of Funchal, the market offers the best fruits, vegetables and flowers on the island and local gastronomy and crafts. A walk through the historic city center: the port area, the 15th-century Manueline style cathedral, the Madeira parliament building, the citadel of St. Lawrence and the statue of Józef Piłsudski. Visiting the famous "Old Blandy Wine Lodge" winery, getting to know the production process of the exceptional Madeira wine, which has its unique taste due to its aging in oak barrels. Tasting. A drive to the Pico dos Barcelos (355 m) lookout point, which offers a panoramic view of the entire city. Half-day trip. Levada to Furado — trekking on the levadas, unique irrigation channels. Level: medium, approx. 11 km, trekking time: approx. 5 hours. Route starts at Ribeiro Frio in the commune of Santana. Along the way there are wonderful views of the valleys and the peaks of the island. Stop and lunch at the old Herdade do Lombo das Faias farm. Continuation of trekking along the levada to Furado, an opportunity to admire the endemic flora and fauna of the laurel forest (so-called Laurissilva). Trekking ends with a descent to the Portela village. One should take suitable clothing and trekking footwear. Price - from approx. 43 EUR (includes: transport, supervision of a Polish-speaking guide, lunch at the farm).
