Hotel bardzo fajny, kameralny. Pokoje czyste, moskitiera, obsługa dba również o to, by komary nie dokuczały. Położony na klifie , bezpośrednio nad oceanem. Plaża w zatoczce a na plaży szałas pokryty trzcina, ma nawet okienek dla przewiewu. Na plaży ochrona, na terenie hotelu, przy wejściach również. Animacje wieczorne ciekawe, sklepik przy recepcji z pamiątkami. Pamiątki oczywiście można kupić na straganach "dwa kroki "od hotelu. My kupowaliśmy w sklepie Zebra, bo wolałam na spokojnie pogadać. Basen oczywiście tez, obsługa miła. Oczywiście będąc tam koniecznie polecam wybrać się na wycieczkę na safari, wrażenia gwarantowane, przygoda niesamowita. Warunki do odpoczynku znakomite, tylko korzystać. Polecamy!

Plaża z dużymi pływami , ale po południu można pływać. Pokoje duże i czyste. Klimatyzacja mało wydajna. Obsługa miła i pomocna. Położenie na klifie co też dodaje uroku. Jest bezpiecznie, można wyskoczyć na wioskę pozwiedzać , zrobić zakupy. Tuk-tuk przy każdym skrzyżowaniu i za 500 szylingów zrobi fajna pokazówkę.

Nie było nic poza posiłkami by się najeść poza (kilkunastoma ciasteczkami i kawałkiem ciasta) przez 1.5h. Pokój ok, a plaża obłożona ludźmi, którzy każdą osobę werbowali do zakupu wycieczek i nie tylko. Zero spokoju i komfortu. Na plaży nie byłam od tak odpocząć ani razu bo się nie dało.

Zgadzam się ze wszystkimi pozytywnymi opiniami, rzeczywiście w tym sezonie hotel doprowadzony do perfekcji! Żeby nie powtarzać tego co już napisane, to kilka słów o lokalizacji. Leży w środku Watamu, więc blisko na stragany, do sklepów. Jest bezpiecznie, niedrogo, są bankomaty więc nie trzeba brać worków gotówki z Polski. W marketach ogromny wybór towarów i można płacić kartą (polecam Blue Marmelade). Trzeba się nauczyć rozmawiać z lokalsami - jedni mniej, inne bardziej upierdliwi. Minusem lokalizacji hotelu jest głośna muzyka z pobliskiej knajpy praktycznie każdej nocy do 4 w nocy, a gdy muzyka ucichnie, 15 minut później pałeczkę przejmuje meczet. Więc stopery do uszu obowiązkowe, bo inaczej nie będzie spania, szczególnie w pokojach z oknami na miasto. Drugi detal – plaża nad zatoką. Zatoka ma swój urok (nawet te cumujące łodzie mogą się podobać), no i nie wieje tak mocno jak na otwartych plażach. Jednak przy brzegu pływa sporo śmieci (jakieś butelki, folie, liny, ubrania – bo wodorosty już pomijam), nie jest ona tak czysta jak ocean. Można się przejść kilkaset metrów dalej, gdzie tych niedogodności nie ma. No i na plaży nie ma hotelowego baru ani toalety (za to jest ochrona), bo hotel jest tak kameralny że pewnie dla tych kilku plażujących gości po prostu nie warto tego robić. Aha, no i Wi-Fi na terenie hotelu działa bardzo dobrze, ale nie sięga aż na plażę. Także jakieś minusy się znajdą, natomiast tydzień spędzony w tym hotelu i ogólnie w Kenii był po prostu świetny!

Bardzo dobre jedzenie, w szczególności ryby i owoce, duży wybór. Plaża znajduje się zaraz obok hotelu, na niej wyznaczone leżaki dla gości hotelu Lion Beach.

Zadbana zieleń, czyste obejście. Jedyne zastrzeżenie dotyczy brudnych materacy na leżakach przy basenie. Obsługa przemiła, pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta i dyskretna, czasem trochę zbyt bardzo nachalna. Zaopatrzenie drink-baru średnie, podstawowe. Pokój duży, jasny, wygodny, sporo mebli. Łóżko bardzo wygodne, czysta pościel, klimatyzacja + wiatrak. Czystość w pokoju pozostawia niestety wiele do życzenia :(, szczególnie podłoga. Codzienne sprzątanie. Jedzenie zróżnicowane i dobre. Dla każdego coś dobrego. Duży minus za mikry lunchbox odebrany z recepcji przed wyprawą na safari. Nie do zjedzenia. Nieapetyczny, suchy. Nie dało się tego zjeść. Niemniej hotel godny polecenia ze względu na stosunek jakości do ceny. Nie dla turystów ceniących luksus.
