Hotel położony w dzielnicy Mestre, kilka przystanków tramwajem lub autobusem i jest się już w Wenecji na pętli. To właśnie jest główny plus hotelu - bardzo wygodne położenie. Z jednej strony blisko centrum Mestre, gdzie można zrobić zakupy lub coś zjeść, z drugiej szybki spacer na przystanek i po chwili jest się już w Wenecji. Sam hotel został dobrze nazwany: President - jego wystrój właśnie tak się kojarzy: ciężki, masywny, drewniane meble, ciemne zasłony. Dobrze że winda nowoczesna, po remoncie, nie bałam się nią jeździć, a różnie z tym bywa... Pokój w miarę dobrze wyposażony, ale zabrakło tzw.serwisu do herbaty/kawy, były położone tylko plastikowe kubeczki. Wygodne łóżko i poduszki (a jestem wymagająca w tym temacie), niestety nie było kołdry, przykryć można się było prześcieradłem i kocem - jak w wojsku ;) trochę to było dziwne, ale do przeżycia. Śniadania smaczne, dość urozmaicone, szczególnie jeśli chodzi o słodkie przekąski, raz nawet trafiłam na pyszne tiramisu. Niestety obsługa mogłaby przykrywać jedzenie, bo np. jajecznica była wysuszona. Obsługa miła, przedostatniego dnia czekał na nas miły upominek: z racji tego że byliśmy na początku stycznia, wg.ich tradycji zostawili nam na stoliczku cukierki i mandarynki w skarpetach u pluszowego Mikołaja :) miły gest, odwdzięczyliśmy się tym samym, w sklepie kupiliśmy skarpetę ze słodyczami Ferrero;) Ręczniki wymieniane na bieżąco, śmieci również wyrzucane.
