Then, continue to Otranto, one of the most atmospheric towns in the Apulia region, where the Romanesque cathedral with its magnificent mosaic floor will captivate you. It's a full-day excursion. BARI - Travel to Bari, the largest city on the Adriatic Sea and the capital of the Apulia region. Take a walk through the old town: visit the Basilica of San Nicola with the tomb of Queen Bona Sforza and the San Sabino Cathedral. It's a half-day excursion. MATERA - Excursion to the unique town known worldwide, perched on the edge of a deep gorge. Explore the Sassi district, the old town center with houses carved into the rock, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its exceptional architectural value. ALBEROBELLO - LOCOROTONDO - CISTERNINO - Travel to the fairytale-like town of Alberobello, where you can admire the district of trulli - original houses with stone cone-shaped roofs, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, visit the sanctuary of San Cosma e Damiano. The excursion also includes a wine tasting at a regional winery. It's a full-day excursion.
