Then, continue to Otranto, one of the most atmospheric towns in the Apulia region, where the Romanesque cathedral with its magnificent mosaic floor will captivate you. It's a full-day excursion. BARI - Travel to Bari, the largest city on the Adriatic Sea and the capital of the Apulia region. Take a walk through the old town: visit the Basilica of San Nicola with the tomb of Queen Bona Sforza and the San Sabino Cathedral. It's a half-day excursion. MATERA - Excursion to the unique town known worldwide, perched on the edge of a deep gorge. ALBEROBELLO - LOCOROTONDO - CISTERNINO - Travel to the fairytale-like town of Alberobello, where you can admire the district of trulli - original houses with stone cone-shaped roofs, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then, visit the sanctuary of San Cosma e Damiano. The excursion also includes a wine tasting at a regional winery. It's a full-day excursion.
