Hotel lata świetności ma już za sobą, architektonicznie nieprzemyślany, Nastawiony głównie na turystów z Francji i rzeczywiście była ich dominująca liczba. Posiłki bez charakteru i pomysłu, dało się najeść ale chwilami z trudem. Pokoje wystarczająco duże jak na 2 osoby- przy 2 dostawkach, a widzieliśmy, że takie też są, robi się bardzo ciasno. Czystość pokoi- bez zarzutu- właściwie tylko pokojówka zasługuje na pochwałę za wykonywana pracę.Łazienka -pęknięty zlew,cieknąca toaleta (przy nalepce proszącej o oszczędzanie wody-sic!), armatura chyba sprzed 40 lat: zaśniedziała, zmatowiała( choć przyznam sprawna). Gdyby był to hotel 2-gwiazdkowy a nie 4, nie byłoby zdziwienia. W opcji all można dostać tylko 1 rodzaj kawy (w plastikowym kubku), za macciato czy frappe czy za wodę w butelce trzeba było dopłacać I na koniec zgrzyt największy w postaci odmówienia bezpłatnego posiłku w ramach all inclusive bo doba hotelowa skończyła się o 12 (a wyjazd mamy dopiero o 18). Mimo , że rezydentka ustalała sprawę posiłku dla nas w dniu wyjazdu już na początku pobytu - dostaliśmy od niej informację ,że wszystko jest załatwione i do momentu opuszczenia hotelu o 18-tej mamy prawo do bezpłatnego korzystania ze wszystkich usług. Przy lunchu okazało się ,że hotel nic nie wie o tych ustaleniach i mamy za posiłek zapłacić. Po prawie 40 min,czekania dopiero po wykonaniu ( przez nas, ponieważ recepcja nie miała ) telefonu do rezydentki sprawa została wyjaśniona i nawet pofatygował się do nas manager hotelu z przeprosinami , ale cóż , niesmak pozostał.

Pokoje średniej wielkości w starym stylu-brak remontu, stare obskurne meble, obskurna toaleta. Pokoje czyste , codzienny serwis sprzątający. Obsługa bardzo miła. Jedzenie smaczne, różnorodne. Animacje znośne, 6x w tygodniu minidisco, codziennie miniklub dla dzieci.

Hotel adekwatny do ceny, pokoje czyste, ale w starej stylistyce i nie za duże. Brak czajnika w pokoju, po kilku próbach udało się nam go uzyskać, był ważny ponieważ podróżowaliśmy z niemowlakiem. Dobre i urozmaicone jedzenie, miła obsługa hotelowa. Atutem tej oferty jest piękny, duży ogród przy hotelu, który rozpościera się aż do samej plaży. Plaża dość szeroka, jednak z przewagą żwirku. My korzystaliśmy z innych plaż, piaszczystych. Do jednej można było dojść na pieszo, do innych dojechać samochodem, który bez problemu można wypożyczyć. Komunikacja na Rodos nie jest skomplikowana.

Wieczorne atrakcje były bardzo ciekawe, wciągu dnia niestety monotonnie, codziennie to samo. Wyżywienie bardzo dobre. jeśli ktoś przyszedł przed końcem czasu na dany posiłek nadal mógł skosztować wszystkiego. Tace nie znikały wcześniej.

Itaka dokonała po problemach z dostępnością miejsc hotelowych w hotelu Cathrin, zamiany na opcję all incl w hotelu Irene palace. Po początkowych stresach i porównaniu położenia, dostępności plaż oraz miejscowych, dostępnych pieszo atrakcji wokół hoteli jesteśmy więcej niż zadowoleni z tej zamiany. Okoliczne plaże: Nisaki, i dostępne albo przez wzgórze albo drogą asfaltową 10 min limanaki :) super urok i super piaseczek), kolymbieni nie pozwalały się nudzić. Leżaki pod drzewami w przyhotelowym parku z barem all incl i basenem pozwoliły na całkowite wyluzownie się.
