W zasadzie nie powinno zaczynać się od słabych stron w recenzji ale w tym Hotelu można wskazać tylko dwa aspekty które nie koniecznie mogą odpowiadać odwiedzającym - wielka różnica (...)
W zasadzie nie powinno zaczynać się od słabych stron w recenzji ale w tym Hotelu można wskazać tylko dwa aspekty które nie koniecznie mogą odpowiadać odwiedzającym - wielka różnica poziomów (hotel leży na bardzo stromym wzgórzu więc trzeba się przygotować na codzienne pielgrzymki) oraz woda przyhotelowej plaży która z racji tego, że znajduje się w zatoce jest zdecydowanie mniej przejrzysta niż moglibyśmy oczekiwać. Nie mniej, poza tymi dwoma drobiazgami w żaden sposób nie wpływa to na ogólny odbiór hotelu.Przede wszystkim, hotel jest prawdziwie pięciogwiazdkowy. Obsługa jest przesympatyczna i profesjonalna - od przywitania w hotelu przez recepcję (wilgotne ręczniki, przewodniki, zimna lemoniada i osobisty opis hotelu przez recepcjonistę na wygodnej kanapie), po ostatnie chwile w hotelu.Śniadanie i kolacja, jedno i drugie w formie bufetu zasługują na oddzielną recenzję. Codziennie zestaw potraw był inny, a praktycznie wszystkie kreteńskie i greckie. Oczywiście znajdziemy tam również typowe międzynarodowe potrawy (jak na przykład śniadanie angielskie - fasolka, jajecznica, bekon, pomidory etc.) ale również rewelacyjny Dakos lub Mussakę. Śniadanie jest "all inclusive", tj. z napojami w pakiecie. Do obiadokolacji natomiast, napoje serwowane są przez kelnera na rachunek pokoju (rewelacyjny wybór win). Cenowo, jak to w wysokiej klasy hotelu ale bez przesady. Już po dwóch kolacjach kelnerzy dokładnie wiedzieli gdzie chcę usiąść i co prawdopodobnie zamówię.Jeśli chodzi o obiady, to serwowane są w dwóch restauracjach - greckiej oraz japońskiej. Nie miałem niestety okazji ich testować - w pobliskiej Elundzie i Place (Plaka) jest zatrzęsienie świetnych mniejszych i większych knajpek.Wracając na chwilkę do różnicy poziomów - nie przejmujcie się, jeśli nie chce się wam wchodzić i schodzić lub z takiej czy innej przyczyny nie możecie tego zrobić - wystarczy poprosić recepcję o podstawienie wózka elektrycznego którym zostaniemy przewiezieni kiedy tylko mamy taką potrzebę lub kaprys.Hotel leży lekko na uboczu, do Elundy piechotą jest ok 20 minut zdrowego spaceru, w większości po całkiem przyjemnym i częściowo zacienionym chodniku. W drugą stronę, do Plaki, również jest ok 20 minut ale niestety poboczem (w obu przypadkach to około 2 kilometrów). Na szczęście, jest dużo taksówek które za stałą cenę 7-8 euro przywiozą i odwiozą nas z hotelu.Jeśli chodzi o pokoje, nie można mieć najmniejszych zastrzeżeń - czyste, schludne (cały hotel jest względnie nowy). Utrzymane są, podobnie jak reszta hotelu w stylu raczej nowoczesnym i międzynarodowym z tylko drobnymi akcentami zdradzające jego grecki charakter. Pokoje ekonomiczne nie są zbyt duże, ale szczerze powiedziawszy wyłącznie w nich spałem :) Łóżko bardzo wygodne, room service dyskretny i uprzejmy.Parkin w hotelu jest bezpłatny (choć niektórym 45 stopniowy podjazd może sprawiać na początku lekkie problemy). Plaża hotelowa w zasadzie jest najsłabszym aspektem. Pomimo równie rewelacyjnej obsługi, świetnych wygodnych leżaków z grubymi materacami i ręcznikami podawanymi przez obsługę (całość podczas mojego pobytu była bezpłatna) to sama plaża była niestety w pełni sztuczna, ze średnio przyjemnego grubego piasku. Nie oczekujmy również wody jak z obrazka - jest czysta, ma piękny turkusowy kolor ale jest średnio przejrzysta. Oczywiście do dyspozycji mamy również basen (położony obok restauracji w której podawane jest śniadanie i kolacja) ale nie miałem okazji z niego korzystać. Jeśli ktoś chciałby bardziej przejrzystej wody polecam udać się do nieodległej Plaki, która leży już na otwartym morzu.

Obsługa: w recepcji bardzo profesjonalna, serwis wewnątrz hotelu" Club car" zawsze do dyspozycji. Pokój z pięknym widokiem na wysokim poziomie hotelu Boutigue. Serwis pokojowy bardzo dyskretny, zawsze posprzątane, ręczniki ,pościel, szlafroki na bieżąco wymienione. 3 restauracje- główna Athena, Posejdon i Samuraj oferująca różnorodności posiłków, wszystkie na najwyższym poziomie. W moim przypadku było bardzo ważne aby były gluten free zawsze obsługa informowała mnie, które są to potrawy. Główny Chief Athena/ Posejdon i Chief Samuraj serwowali dania na poziomie gwiazdek Michealin. Obsługa Maitre, Sommelier i kelnerów na wysokim poziomie. Plaża piękna strzeżona z możliwością korzystania z sprzętów wodnych oraz prywatnego chart jacht. Serwis na plaży wspaniały zawsze up-front naszykowane leżaki i spełniane życzenia gości, podobnie na basenie. Restauracja na plaży oferuje różnorodność dań od greckim po kuchnie japońską ( tu zawsze świeże ryby używane do sushi, prosto z kutrów rybackich.Atrakcją jest raz w tygodniu wieczór grecki, zespół bardzo profesjonalny. Jest to miejsce gdzie znów wrócę.

Godnym podkreślenia jest dodatkowo pyszne jedzenie i podejście do ochrony środowiska. Hotel, położony tarasowo na wysokim zboczu, posługuje się samochodami elektrycznymi z doładowaniem baterii w postaci instalacji solarycznej. Samochodami tymi są rozwożeni goście hotelowi, oraz korzysta z nich obsługa przy wszystkich potrzebach transportowych i logistycznych.Naprzeciw hotelu znajduje się nadmorska plaża z wygodnymi leżakami i parasolami. Ręczniki i korzystanie z plaży jest w cenie, a dodatkowo goście hotelowi mogą skorzystać z baru (rachunki "na pokój") i wypożyczalni pływającego, wodnego sprzętu sportowego. The Heraklion region:
Knossos and Heraklion — exploring the most important remnants of Minoan Crete: the ruins of the Palace of Knossos, which was probably a mythical maze. After exploring the palace, transfer to Heraklion - the capital of the island, free time for a walk and shopping, or optionally: visiting the Archaeological Museum. Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos — the landscapes of East Crete, which is famous for its splendid views on the gorgeous Mirabello bay, an ancient flooded port of Olous and the city of Agios Nikolaos. Cruise to the island of Spinalonga, exploring the impressive fortress built by the Byzantines. After the tour, the boat anchors in a quiet cove by a small, wild beach. Time for swimming and lunch, which is prepared by the crew of the ship: grilled meat and Greek Salad. After returning to land, a walk through the charming and romantic Agios Nikolaos. Santorini - the island from a Greek fairytale — a boat trip to one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Cretan evening — an amazing encounter with the island's folklore in a tavern in the scenic mountain village of Kato Karouzano. After exiting the gorge the route leads through an abandoned, old village of Agia Roumeli to the new Agia Roumeli. Boat cruise to Chora Sfakion, transfer to the hotels by coach. Day trip. Golden beaches and lagoons of Crete — Gramvousa and Balos: the route of the expedition runs along the northern coast, to the port of Kissamos, where the cruise begins around a gorgeous bay. Gramvousa is uninhabited, with intact nature and is a natural reserve for many species of birds. Next to it Balos Bay extends, with stunning blue waters and golden sands. A true leisure awaits here, as well as swimming and lunch prepared by the crew of the ship. Free time, return trip to Kissamos and transfer to hotels. Day trip, return in the evening. Lashiti — visiting the fascinating corner of eastern Crete - the Lashiti Plateau. This is a very fertile valley located in the middle of the Dikte massif, sheltered from the wind on all sides by mountains. It is said that here, in one of the caves - Psychro - the "father of gods and people" Zeus was born. Except for the typical tourist towns on the coast, in the depths of the mountainous land the life has stopped. An additional attraction will be a visit to Eco Park, where you will have time for a traditional Greek dinner and learning the Cretan folklore. Vai Palm Beach - Sitia - Moni Toplou Monastery — a trip to the east of Crete. Drive on a route with breathtaking views to the paradise beach of Vai, called "Bounty Beach". Golden Island — a sea trip to the southernmost located corner of Europe. Sail out from the port in Ierapetra across the Libyan Sea to the Golden Island of Chrissi. Gramvousa — an expedition to one of the most stunning places in Crete, which could be named "A visit to paradise"... The route of the tour runs along the northern coast to Kissamos (Kastelli) Port, where the cruise begins around the gorgeous bay. After an hour arrival in Imeri Gramvousa. This uninhabited islet with intact nature is a natural reserve for many species of birds. A swim in the bay and visit to the ruins located on a 137 metre hill of the Venetian fortress from the 16th century, providing wonderful views of Balos Bay. Just a 15-minute boat ride divides the island from the picturesque Balos lagoon, where crystal clear water, golden sand and wonderful relaxation awaits. Price - approx. 57 EUR.
Elafonisi — this tiny islet located in the depths of the bay of the same name is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Crete. Separated from the mainland by a very shallow sea. It is possible to reach by walking on the sandy bottom. Heading south along the track of Cretan villages called Enneachoria we will see the Chapel of Agia Sofia known from Neolithic times hidden in the grotto, and the stalactites and stalagmites occurring there. The tour includes the charming little village of Ano Vouves, where the oldest olive tree in Greece is located. A pleasant end to the day is the visit to the local wineries. Unknown Crete and Chania — trip to the central-western part of Crete. This inconspicuous name of the trip conceals gems of central Crete. At the beginning of the trip - the only freshwater lake on the island - Kournas. The route leads on via the Cretan villages to Argiroupoli (the so-called Silver City), in the vicinity of which you can admire stunning waterfalls. Then, crossing the Akrotiri peninsula where the great Greek politician Venizelos reposes. At the end of touring the city of Chania - one of the most beautiful on the island, where the labyrinth of narrow, charming streets invariably wows visitors.
