Tour Operator of the Year 2018

During the official opening of the 30th edition of the TOUR SALON fairs in Poznań, the Polish Chamber of Tourism gave awards in the "Tour Operator of the Year" competition for the eighth time. ITAKA once again won the title of Tour Operator of the Year 2018 in the main competition.

Top Brand 2018

In the 11th edition of the brand media-friendliness ranking, 50 brands with the best image in their industries were selected. ITAKA won the title of Top Brand 2018 among travel agencies. For the purposes of the "Press" and "PRESS-SERVICE Monitoring Mediów" reports, the materials published from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 in the press, the Internet and social media were analyzed. In this year's edition, the victory of brands was determined by their strength, i.e. the number of publications about them, the range of references to the brand and the resonance index, reflecting the share of positive, neutral and negative publications in total concerning a given brand - the higher the better. The winners included PKO Bank Polski, IKEA, E. Wedel, Samsung and Coca-Cola.

The "Teraz Polska" ("Now Poland") Emblem

During the XXVIII edition of the "Teraz Polska" Competition ITAKA received an emblem confirming the highest quality of services and contribution to the development of Polish tourism. The "Teraz Polska" emblem is a prestigious distinction, a sign recognizable both in Poland and abroad. The competition is organized by the "Teraz Polska” Polish Promotional Programme Foundation. The aim of the foundation is to reward the best Polish products and services, municipalities and undertakings, as well as to honor Poles who, thanks to their activity, become Polish ambassadors in Poland and abroad.

Wiktoria 2017

Wiktoria - The Entrepreneurs' Seal of Quality is awarded to the best Polish companies dealing with trade, production and services. It is a symbol of quality, reliability, credibility and testifies to the excellent condition of companies that influence the development of the Polish economy. This prestigious award was granted to ITAKA for the second time.

Digital Excellence Leader

The ITAKA Travel Agency has been among the narrow circle of winners of the Digital Excellence Awards – a competition that aims to identify the most innovative digital transformations in the last few years. The prestigious "Digital Exellence Leader" award was received by only five Polish companies and institutions. ITAKA has been recognized for implementing solutions supporting digitalization and using new opportunities at all stages of the Client's path.

Member of the Polish Chamber of Tourism

ITAKA is a member of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, the largest Polish organization of economic self-government of the tourism industry in Poland, which in turn is a member of ECTAA (European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Association). The Polish Chamber of Tourism associates renowned, largest travel agencies, airlines, higher education institutions teaching tourism and hospitality, insurance companies and other organizations from the broadly understood tourism industry.
