2. DAY. PORTO VECCHIO - CORTE (route: approx. 250 km) Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to Santa Teresa Gallura, ferry crossing to Bonifacio in Corsica. Transfer to PORTO VECCHIO, once a Genoese fortress, now one of the most popular tourist centers in Corsica. A walk around the city, during which you can admire, among others, the citadel and streets from the 16th century. Transfer to CORTE, a beautifully situated town in the center of the island surrounded by high mountains, which in the mid-18th century was the capital of the free Corsican state. Walk through the winding and steep streets of the old town. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
3. DAY. BASTIA - CAP CORSE (route: approx. 210 km) Breakfast. Transfer to BASTIA. Walk around the city. Visiting the beautifully situated on a small hill district of Terra Nuova with a citadel built by the Genoese, the cathedral and the Governor's Palace, the picturesque Old Port in the Terra Vecchia district and St-Nicolas square with the Napoleon monument. Panoramic tour of CAP CORSE, also known as the Toe of Corsica. 4. DAY. L’ÎLE ROUSSE - CALVI (route: approx. 150 km) Breakfast. Check out. Departure to L'ÎLE ROUSSE, a popular holiday resort. A tour of the Île de la Pietra, which is the symbol of the city, and a walk around the old town. Transfer to CALVI, one of the most beautiful cities of the island with a fortress located at the top of a rocky headland. A stroll through the streets of the citadel: the palace of the Genoese governors, the church of St. John the Baptist, the ruins of Christopher Columbus' family home. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. PORTO - LES CALANCHES - PIANA - CARGÈSE - AJACCIO (route: approx. 270 km) Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to PORTO - a picturesque summer resort situated on the bay of the same name, entered on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. A characteristic element of the town is a high observation tower, which is now a great vantage point of the sea crashing against the shores and the forest covered hills. Just outside the city, you can admire one of the most beautiful landscapes of Corsica, which is formed by high granite rocks of red and orange hues, falling vertically into the sea - LES CALANCHES. Then a short stop in the beautifully situated town of PIANA. Transfer to CARGÈSE, a town situated on a rocky promontory on the Sagone Bay, inhabited in the 18th century by the Greeks who built an Orthodox church here. Transfer to AJACCIO - the capital of Corsica, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte.
