LOCATION: 1 km from the small village of Pwani Machangani and approx. 5 km to the east of the small village of KIWENGWA, on a hill descending to the beach; approx. 47 km from the airport in Zanzibar.
BEACH: Kiwengwa, public, long, white, soft sand, gently shelving beach, right next to the hotel, approx. 250 m from the reception, access via the hotel garden, on a separate section: free umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses and towels.

Local excursions
Stone Town and Spice Tour — city of stone is a presentation of the rich culture and history of Zanzibar, where little has changed in the past 200 years. Here, every building, every window and door tells its own story. The city is a symbol of the fight against slavery, as it was one of the main centres of slave trade in East Africa. A stroll through the narrow streets of Stone Town, a visit to the urban market, visiting the Museum in one of Sultan's Palaces, free time for shopping. Then, the programme includes visiting one of the largest plantations in Zanzibar, where cloves, vanilla, coconut nuts, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, nutmeg, herbs, ornamental plants and tropical fruits are cultivated. Josani Forest and Prison Island — a trip to Josani National Park. A walk along the natural trail through the forest, full of rare species of exotic birds, butterflies and endangered western red colobus (Colobus badius) with characteristic long hair on their head. This is one of the few places where you can encounter them. The forest is tropical in nature due to the persisting high humidity from the sea and a lot of rainfall during the rainy season, which diversifies vegetation. There are palm trees, fig trees, mahogany, ferns and mangrove trees. A visit to Prison Island, where tortoises live. There is a small beach and a reef here, excellent for snorkelling. In the local restaurant you can try i.a. seafood (for an extra charge). Day trip. Price - approx. 85 USD.
Safari Blue — an expedition on a traditional dhow boat. Sail out from the small fishing village of Fumba, which is the perfect place to start your adventure. Exploring part of the beautiful Menai Bay. While sailing on the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, you can admire the wonderful sandy shores of the islands and lagoons, as well as encounter bottlenose dolphins. Stopover on one of the heavenly beaches, time for snorkelling in the transparent waters of the ocean and admiring the rich coral reef. Then a real treat with seafood, fish, lobsters. A walk to the tropical forest, where you can see a 500-year-old boabab. Short boat cruises, swimming in a lagoon and relaxation. Day trip. Price - approx. 100 USD (includes lunch and drinks).
Sunset Cruise - Setting Sun — a wonderful, romantic adventure. A cruise by local dhov boats from the village of Nungwi with one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Relaxation, silence and the sound of waves as well as admiration of the sunset. On-board local fruit tasting. Price - approx. 65 USD.
Safari in Tanzania - Selous (2 days) — great landscapes and nature at your fingertips. Airplane safari to Selous Park - the largest African reserve, which accounts for 5% of Tanzania's area. The main attraction of Selous park is the elephants. Here you can also meet hippos, crocodiles, lions, antelopes, and some of the last surviving black rhinos. Overnight stay in lodges on the banks of the river Rufiji, which is home to hippos and crocodiles. Price - approx. 890 USD (including flight, accommodation, meals, entry to the Selous National Park, cruise on the Rufija river).
Mkokotoni Village — an expedition to a local village to learn about the real life of the Zanzibar people and the methods of making traditional dhow boats. At the end of the day, enjoy the sunset and free time on one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, in Nungwi. Optional: visit the Aquarium with sea turtles (charged extra). Price - approx. 40 USD.
