Description
1. DAY. Collection of participants. Trip to Italy via the Czech Republic and Austria with short stops.
2. DAY. PISTOIA - MONTECATINI TERME Arrival in PISTOI, a city that was once the splendor of Florence. A stroll through the very old center with one of the most beautiful medieval squares in Italy: Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of St. Zeno with the altar of St. James made of embossed silver, a baptistery and a belfry. Transfer to the hotel in MONTECATINI TERME, a spa town already known in the 13th century for the health properties of local thermal waters. Hotel accommodation. A walk through the renowned resort with elegant spa buildings and a picturesque old town on a hill. Access by cable car to the oldest part of the city - Montecatini Alto - located on a hill, from where there is a beautiful view of the area. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
3. DAY. SIENA - SAN GIMIGNANO Breakfast. Transfer to SIENA, one of the most beautiful medieval European cities. Sightseeing: St. Dominic with the relics of St. Catherine of Siena, Piazza del Campo - the shell-shaped square where the famous Palio horse races take place, the cathedral with sculptures by Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, Donatello, Michelangelo and frescoes by Pinturicchia. Walk through via di Città, lined with beautiful patrician houses and magnificent palaces. Transfer to SAN GIMIGNANO known as medieval Manhattan, whose historic center has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Sightseeing: the cobbled Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo, the Collegiate Church with the series of frescoes by Bartola di Fredi and Barna da Siena. Walk via San Giovanni with its arts and crafts shops. Free time. Return to the hotel, overnight.
4. DAY. PIZA - CHIANTI Breakfast. Arrival in PISA. Walk around the Square of Miracles with the famous Leaning Tower, visit the cathedral and the baptistery. Then drive to CHIANTI - the famous region between Florence and Siena, with vineyards and beautiful towns. This is where one of the most famous Italian wines comes from: Chianti Classico. A short tour of Greve in Chianti and Radda in Chianti, considered the capital of Chianti. Tasting of local wines and snacks. Return to the hotel, overnight.
5. DAY. FLORENCE Breakfast. Transfer to FLORENCE. Visiting the capital of Tuscany: the interior of the Church of Santa Croce, a walk through the Piazza del Duomo next to the Baptistery with the famous Gates of Paradise, the entrance to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, whose monumental dome is the symbol of the city. Continuation of the walk past Giotto's Tower through Piazza della Signoria at Palazzo Vecchio do Ponte Vecchio - the Goldsmiths Bridge - with jewelry shops. The program ends with an individual tour of the Uffizi Gallery - the most magnificent painting gallery in Italy (booking tickets with a remote control, subject to availability). Free time. Trip to Poland via Austria and the Czech Republic with short stops.
6. DAY. Arrival in Poland in the morning.
