You can admire the beauty of alpine nature on an easy walking trail through its most beautiful part - Val di Cogne. Along the way, the capital of the Aosta region surrounded by mountains, Bergamo with its charming old town, elegant Turin - the home of Fiat - and cosmopolitan Milan. 1. DAY. Collection of participants. Trip to Italy via the Czech Republic and Austria with short stops.
2. DAY. LAKE GARDA - SIRMIONE Drive to LAKE GARDA, the largest and most popular Italian lake. The road leads to SIRMIONE with the fairy tale castle of the Scaliger family. Sightseeing of the town. Transfer to a hotel in the Verona area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
3. DAY. BELLAGIO - LAKE COMO - COMO Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to BELLAGIO, the most beautiful resort on LAKE COMO, famous for its magnificent residences. Visiting the gardens of Villa Melzi. Ferry crossing to Tremezzo. Drive along the coast panoramic route to the city of COMO, which gave rise to such celebrities as Pliny the Younger and Pliny the Elder, and Alessandro Volta. Walk through the center with a beautiful cathedral. Transfer to a hotel in the Milan area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
4. DAY. MILAN - ISOLA BELLA - LAKE MAGGIORE Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to MILAN - the cosmopolitan capital of fashion. Sightseeing: Piazza del Duomo with the famous gothic cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with elegant cafes, traditional meeting place for Milans, Piazza della Scala with the famous opera house La Scala, Castello Sforzesco. Transfer to LAKE MAGGIORE and crossing by ferry to the most beautiful island: ISOLA BELLA. Transfer to a hotel in the Aosta area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
5. DAY. PUNTA HELBRONNER - AOSTA Breakfast. Transfer to Entreves and access by cable car to PUNTA HELBRONNER (3462 m above sea level), where there is a terrace from which there is an unforgettable view of the peak of Monte Bianco - Mont Blanc (4807 m above sea level) and visible on the horizon Matternhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso. Transfer to AOSTA, visiting the capital of the autonomous area of the same name: Porta Praetoria, monuments from Roman times with the arch of Emperor Augustus, the cathedral. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
6. DAY. GRAN PARADISO Breakfast. Transfer to the GRAN PARADISO National Park and a visit to its most beautiful part: Val di Cogne with the charming village of Cogne. A short walk to Valnontey along the Valnontey River Valley trail, from where you can see the glaciers. Then drive to Lillaz and walk to the Lillaz Falls. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
7. DAY. TURIN Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to TURIN - the capital of the Piedmont region and the site of the 2006 Winter Olympics. A walk through the historic center: Piazza San Carlo, Palazzo Carignano, Palazzo Madama, the cathedral where the famous Shroud of Turin (not available to visitors), Valentino Park, where it is located an interesting reconstruction of a medieval castle, the baroque Basilica di Superga. Free time. Transfer to your hotel in the Turin area. Check-in, half-board and overnight.
8. DAY. LA GRAVE Breakfast. Full day optional trip (for an extra charge on site) to France. Drive through the Col du Lautaret to the beautiful alpine town of LA GRAVE. Ascend by gondola lifts to the La Girose glacier, next to which are the famous La Meije and Le Râteau glaciers. A visit to a grotto carved in a glacier, where you can admire fantastic ice sculptures. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
9. DAY. BERGAMO Breakfast. Checking out. Departure to BERGAMO. Transfer by train to Bergamo Alta - a beautiful old town. Walk from Piazza Vecchia with the medieval Palazzo della Ragione to Piazza del Duomo with its cathedral, the Romanesque Church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Renaissance Capella Colleoni with its magnificent facade. Trip to Poland via Austria and the Czech Republic with short stops.
10. DAY. Arrival in Poland in the morning.
