Description
1. DAY.Collection of participants. Trip to Italy via the Czech Republic and Austria with short stops.
2. DAY. SAN MARINO - ADRIATIC RIVER Arrival in SAN MARINO in the morning - a walk along the tourist route of the oldest republic in the world, constituting an enclave in Italy. Tasting of local liquors. Free time. Transfer to the hotel on the ADRIATIC RIVER. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
3. DAY. ASSISI Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Assisi - a medieval city made famous by St. Francis, the founder of the most numerous order in the world. Visit to the Basilica of St. Francis and the church of St. Clara. Walk around Piazza del Comune. Transfer to a hotel near Rome. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
4. DAY. VATICAN - ROME Breakfast. Transfer to the VATICAN - the capital of Christianity. Visiting the interior of St. Peter, a visit to the resting place of John Paul II. Walk around St. Peter. Then, a tour of the historic center of ROME. Walk past the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Capitoline Hill and continue through Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna to the Trevi Fountain. A break next to the Pantheon - a wonderfully preserved ancient building, the temple of all gods (possibility of individual entry). Return to the hotel. In the evening, optional (for an extra charge on site): Roman dinner with local dishes and wine, and dancing party with live music. Return to the hotel.
5. DAY. NAPLES - MONTE CASSINO Breakfast. Transfer to NAPLES, the capital of the Campania region and the symbol of the Italian south. Panoramic tour of the city by coach: the city square with the Maschio Angioino castle (Tower of Anjou), the Chiaia, Mergellina and Posillipo districts with exceptional views of the Bay of Naples, the Vesuvius and Campi Flegrei. Further in the program: a walk: on the route Castel dell'Ovo (Castle on the Egg), Santa Lucia Street, Piazza Plebiscito with the Royal Palace and the Basilica of St. Francis of Paola - the Neapolitan pantheon. Then walk past the San Carlo Theater, Toledo Street and enter the Humbert I Gallery. Free time. Transfer to MONTE CASSINO, the site of the heroic fights of Polish troops during World War II. Visit to the Benedictine Abbey. A moment of reflection at the Polish War Cemetery in Monte Cassino. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. FLORENCE Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to FLORENCE - the capital of Tuscany. Visiting the interior of the Church of Santa Croce and Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Walk from Piazza del Duomo, past the Baptistery and Giotto's Tower, through Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio to Ponte Vecchio. Transfer to a hotel in the Venice area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
7th DAY. VENICE Breakfast. Check out. Arrival in VENICE at the Tronchetto parking lot. A cruise on the famous Venetian canals to St. Brand. A walk from the Bridge of Sighs, next to the Doge's Palace, through St. Mark with the entrance to the Basilica of St. Mark, then Ponte Rialto. Free time. Return cruise and departure to Poland with short stops.
8th DAY.Arrival to Poland in the morning.
