The program of places of worship includes a visit to Padua, the city of the patron of lost things, and Assisi, whose symbol is the most environmentally friendly saint. The classic program of visiting Rome and the Vatican, a visit to ancient Pompeii and the intricate mosaics in Ravenna are other strong points of the route. Description
1. DAY.Collection of participants. Trip to Italy via the Czech Republic and Austria with short stops.
2. DAY. VENICE Arrival in VENICE at the Tronchetto car park in the morning. A cruise on the famous Venetian canals to St. Brand. A walk from the Bridge of Sighs, past the Doge's Palace through St. Mark and next to the Basilica of St. Make for Ponte Rialto. Transfer to a hotel in the Venice area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
3. DAY. PADUA - VERONA Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to PADUA. Visit to the Basilica of St. Anthony, then a stroll through the historic center and Piazza delle Erbe. Transfer to VERONA. Walk from the Roman amphitheater Arena via Piazza dei Signori to Casa Capuletti with Shakespeare's Juliet's famous balcony. Transfer to a hotel in the Florence area. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
4. DAY. PISA - FLORENCE Breakfast. Departure to Pisa. Walk around the Square of Miracles with the famous Leaning Tower, visit the cathedral and the baptistery. Transfer to FLORENCE, the capital of Tuscany. Visiting the interior of the Church of Santa Croce, walk around Piazza del Duomo next to the Baptistery, entrance to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The walking route continues past Giotto's Tower through Piazza della Signoria from Palazzo Vecchio to Ponte Vecchio. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. Pompeii - NAPLESBreakfast. Check out. Transfer to POMPEI - visiting the excavation site of the ancient city. Transfer to NAPLES, short tour of the capital of Campania. Transfer to the hotel in the region of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
DAY 6. CAPRI - ANACAPRI - SORRENTO Breakfast. Travel to the island of CAPRI. Boat trip around the island. Visit to CAPRI and ANACAPRI. Return by ferry to SORRENTO - a short walk around the famous resort. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
7th DAY. VISUAL - MONTE CASSINO Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to VZUWIUSZ, the only active volcano in continental Europe, approx. 30-minute walk to the observation deck at the crater. Transfer to MONTE CASSINO, the site of the heroic fights of Polish troops during World War II. A visit to the Benedictine abbey. A moment of reflection at the Polish War Cemetery in Monte Cassino. Transfer to the hotel in Fiuggi, check-in. In the evening, an optional (for an extra charge on site) Roman dinner in a restaurant with original decor, excellent local food and wine, as well as dancing with live music. Return to the hotel, overnight.
8th DAY. ROME Breakfast. Transfer by coach to ROME to visit the Eternal City. The tour begins with Piazza del Popolo, a large neoclassical square from which Roman roads diverged. Entrance to the Pincio hill, from which there is a wonderful view of the entire city. The program also includes the Trinità dei Monti church and the descent to the Spanish Square. Next, the Trevi Fountain, Marcus Aurelius Column, Parliament, Piazza Navona. A break at the Pantheon, for those willing to enter the interior individually (from 01/07/2023 a fee of 5 euros, www.pantheonroma.com). Then a walk to the Venetian Square, entrance to the Capitoline Hill, from where you can see all of ancient Rome. Walk past the Roman Forum under the Colosseum. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
9. DAY. VATICAN Breakfast. Transfer by coach to the Vatican for midday prayer (during the Holy Father's stay in Rome). Visiting the interior of the basilica and a visit to the resting place of John Paul II. Walk around St. Peter. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
10. DAY. ASISIS - FRASASSI CAVES - ADRIATIC RIVER Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Assisi. Visiting the interior of St. Francis, a stroll around Piazza del Comune in the old town. Transfer to Genga. Visiting the famous GROT FRASASSI, distinguished by a unique and beautiful sculpture of rocks. Transfer to the hotel on the ADRIATIC RIVER. Check-in, half-board, overnight.
11. DAY. SAN MARINO Breakfast. Rest by the sea. Trip to SAN MARINO. A walk along the tourist route of the world's oldest republic. Free time to buy souvenirs. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
12. DAY. RAWENNA Breakfast. Check out, transfer to RAWENNA. Sightseeing: the mosaics of the Church of San Vitale, Zona Dantesca. Trip to Poland via Austria and the Czech Republic with short stops.
DAY 13.Arrival to Poland in the morning.
