Description
1. DAY.Collection of participants. Departure to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2. DAY. Sarajevo Arrival in SARAJEWA, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after Istanbul, the largest concentration of monuments of Muslim architecture in Europe. There are over 60 mosques here. It is a city of many faiths and nationalities where different cultures and religions intertwine. Sightseeing of the old town: town hall, Gazi Husrev-beg mosque, Baščaršija; Gawriel Princip bridge - the site of the assassination attempt on Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, dinner and overnight.
3. DAY. PERAST - KOTOR Breakfast. Transfer to PERAST in Montenegro, a quiet town with uniform baroque buildings, with just over 300 inhabitants. Cruise to the Island of Our Lady of the Rock and visit the famous sanctuary. Transfer to KOTOR, an extremely charming town with a Mediterranean character, entered on the UNESCO list. A walk through the labyrinth of streets of the old town with numerous squares and temples, and a wonderfully preserved system of defensive walls. Visiting the Cathedral of St. Tryphon. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
4. DAY. KRUJA - TIRANA Breakfast. Transfer to KRUJI, one of the oldest cities in Albania, known as the balcony to the Adriatic because of its location. It is one of the few cities in Albania where the original buildings have been preserved. Walk through the bazaar and to the top of the hill with the remains of the fortress, and visit the Ethnographic Museum. Transfer to TIRANA, the capital and largest city of Albania. A walk through the center with historical and contemporary objects: Skanderberg Square - the heart of the city; The 18th-century Ethem Bey Mosque - one of the most beautiful monuments in Tirana; clock tower - the symbol of the city. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. DURRËS - GJIROKSTER Breakfast. Transfer to the port city of DURRËS, where the most interesting place is the Roman amphitheater located on the slope of the hill, one of the most magnificent ancient monuments in Albania. Transfer to GJIROKASTER - visiting the picturesquely located museum city, entered on the UNESCO list, with an ancient fortress, narrow, charming streets of the old town and a bustling bazaar district. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. SARANDA - BUTRINTI Breakfast. Transfer to SARANDA - a seaside resort and a walk along the boulevard. Free time. Transfer to the town of BUTRINTI, known for its archaeological excavations, entered on the UNESCO list. A national park was established in the town and adjacent areas. Dinner and overnight.
7th DAY. BERATE - OHRID Breakfast. Transfer to BERAT - the city of a thousand windows, under the patronage of UNESCO. A walk through the charmingly situated on the slope of Mount Tomori, a town with a maze of streets and a mighty citadel. A visit to the ethnographic museum. Transfer and sightseeing of OCHRIDA - an ancient Macedonian resort on a picturesque lake. The city is the only one in North Macedonia that is included on the UNESCO list. A walk around the Old Town, where you can see, among others remains of an ancient theater. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
8th DAY. MONASTERY OF ST. NAUMA Breakfast. A day off to rest or an optional trip (for an extra charge on site). Drive along a picturesque road to the MONASTERY OF ST. NAUMA and visiting one of the most important Orthodox monasteries in North Macedonia, then a boat trip through the whirlwinds of Black Drin and tasting local specialties. Return to the hotel, free time, dinner, overnight.
9. DAY. P.N. MAWROWO - THE MONASTERY OF JOVAN BIGORSKI Breakfast. Drive through the area of the Mavrov National Park, the largest and one of the most interesting in North Macedonia. The park area is beautiful high mountain landscapes, canyons, waterfalls and lakes. Stops at viewpoints. Visiting the JOVAN BIGORSKI MONASTERY, which is famous for its magnificent wooden iconostasis made by the Filipowski brothers in the first half of the 19th century. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
10. DAY. SKOPJE Breakfast. Transfer to SKOPJE, the capital of North Macedonia. A walk around the city: the Isa Beja mosque, the complex of Turkish baths of Kursumli An, the old bazaar where you can feel the atmosphere of the old Balkans, the stone bridge. Crossing the border with Serbia. Transfer to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
11. DAY. NOWY SAD – SREMSKIE KARŁOWICE Breakfast. A walk through the NEW SAD - a cosmopolitan, multicultural city. A walk through the streets of the Old Town, incl. town hall, Bishop's Palace, St. Nicholas and the church of Soborna, then along the walls of the mighty fortress of Petrovaradin, known as the Gibraltar of the Danube, from which there is a magnificent view of the city. Visiting the underground system of corridors - unique on a European scale. Transfer to a small town that in the past was the spiritual center of Serbia - SREM KARŁOWICE. A short walk around the historic center. A visit to a local vineyard and Bermet wine tasting. Departure to Poland.
12. DAY.Arrival in Poland.
