Description
1. DAY.Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Venice. Transfer to the hotel. Transfer to the center. A stroll through the Cannaregio district, where the traditional life of the island continues, away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of tourists. The walk begins at the Ponte delle Guglie - a wide stone bridge with decorative obelisks. A transition to Campiello dell'Anconetta with a beautiful mosaic, commonly known as an "icon". The route continues through Campo della Maddalena with a small church modeled on the Roman Pantheon, next to Palazzo Giovanelli, the Church of Santa Sofia and the Church of Santi Apostoli, built after seeing St. Magnus, to the Church of Madonna dell'Orto with a miraculous figure by Giovanni de Santi and the tomb of the famous painter Jacopo Tintoretto. Free time. Return to the hotel, overnight.
2. DAY.Breakfast. Transfer to Venice. A cruise to the island of MURANO, famous for its glass making. A walk around the center, a visit to the workshop where art glass is made. Continuation of the cruise to another island: BURANO, known for its lace-making and colorfully painted houses. Walk around the island, free time. Cruise to Venice. Passageway from the Bridge of Sighs, next to the Campanile and to St. Mark with the basilica. Visiting the Doge's Palace, the rulers of Venice, then the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, built as a thanksgiving after the end of the plague. Optional (at an extra cost on site): gondola ride. Free time - an evening walk in the center. Return cruise on the Grand Canal to the Tronchetto area. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY.Breakfast. Transfer to Venice. Passage by the Church of San Giacomo dell'Orio to San Zan Degola - one of the oldest churches in the city, dedicated to St. John, with a ship's keel-shaped vault and magnificent frescoes. Further on the route: Ca 'Pesaro palace - a masterpiece of the Baroque, Pescheria - fish market and the famous Ponte Rialto - the oldest bridge on the Grand Canal. Free time. Then on the program: San Giacomo di Rialto square with the church of the same name, considered the oldest in Venice, Campo San Polo, the church of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, resembling a museum. Return to the hotel, overnight.
4. DAY.Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Poland.
