In the second part of the trip, a stay in a hotel close to the sea in Calabria, known as the "land to be discovered". Beautiful Tropea, proudly perched on a coastal rock, is one of the most photographed places in Calabria. An optional excursion to Sicily is a great complement to the picture of the south of Italy. 1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Lamezia Terme. Transfer to the hotel near Cosenza. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. NAPLES (route: approx. 300 km) Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to NAPLES, the capital of the Campania region. The city tour begins with a visit to the Cathedral of St. Januarius, whose origins date back to the thirteenth century. The cathedral is famous for the miracle of changing the blood of the patron saint of the city from a solidified form to a liquid form, as well as the seventeenth-century chapel and the Renaissance crypt with an urn with the remains of the saint. Then, a stroll through the streets of the UNESCO-listed old town, San Lorenzo with the underground route of Neapolis - is a hitherto unknown world, tightly connected with the city, which would not exist if it were not for the underground world. Forty meters below the bustling streets of Naples' historic center, there is a network of underground tunnels carved in tuff, the material used to build the city. The oldest of them come from around 5,000. years. The route continues through Santa Chiara and Chiesa del Gesù (Jesus' New Church). Then walk towards Piazza Municipio next to Castel Nuovo, Galeria Umberto I and Piazza Plebiscito, next to the Royal Palace. Free time. Transfer to your hotel in the Naples / Sorrento area. 3. DAY. ISLAND CAPRI - CAPRI - ANACAPRI - SORRENTO (route: approx. 120 km) Breakfast. Cruise to the ISLAND OF CAPRI in the Tyrrhenian Sea, near the Sorrentine Peninsula. A full-day stay on a picturesque island once adored by emperors, known for its beautiful views, Mediterranean vegetation and magnificent summer residences. Boat trip around the island. Visit to the towns of CAPRI and ANACAPRI. Free time for sunbathing. Return ferry cruise to SORRENTO - a short walk around the famous resort, a colorful town full of life and joy with beautiful views. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
4. DAY. VISUAL - POMPEIAS (route: approx. 420 km) Breakfast. Check out. An excursion to VZUWIUSZ, the only active volcano in continental Europe. Entry by coach to the car park in the volcano massif, approx. 30-minute walk to the observation deck by the crater, from where you can see the city of Naples and the Bay of Naples. Transfer to POMPEY. Visiting an ancient city buried in volcanic ash in the 1st century CE The archaeological work carried out there now allows visitors to imagine the time when Pompeii was teeming with life. The oldest known Roman amphitheater is among the remains of the ancient city. Today it is overgrown with grass, once a place of entertainment that could seat an audience of twenty thousand. Transfer to a hotel near Tropea. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. TROPEA Breakfast. Transfer to TROPEI - the most beautiful and fashionable city in Calabria, picturesquely situated on the promontory of the same name. Tropea delights with Mediterranean architecture. Walk along the main promenade of the city leading to the observation deck. From the observation deck, you can admire the magnificent landscape of the Aeolian Islands and the striking volcano Stromboli. Free time for souvenir photos. Transfer to the vicinity of Capo Vaticano. Tasting of local products: pickled onions, marmalade, chili cream, cold meats as well as liqueurs, wines and olive oil. Return to the hotel, free time. Dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. TAORMINA (route: approx. 270 km) Breakfast. Free time to relax by the sea or optionally (for an additional fee on site): a day trip to Sicily - the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, attracting tourists with its exoticism and richness of monuments. Sightseeing TAORMINA: Teatro Greco - picturesquely situated ruins of an ancient theater, walk along Corso Umberto to the square with an observation deck, from where you can admire the entire bay and Mount Etna - the highest active volcano in Europe (3263 m above sea level). Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
7th DAY. REGGIO DI CALABRIA - SCILLA (route: approx. 230 km) Breakfast. A trip to REGGIO DI CALABRIA and SCILLA. The program of the trip includes visiting the town of Reggio di Calabria - the capital of Calabria. A visit to the Museo Nazionale, where you can see two bronze statues attributed to Phidias. Walk along the promenade with panoramic views of the Sicilian coast and Mount Etna. Free time. Transfer to Scilla - a small, charming seaside town located on a hill. Return to the hotel, free time. Dinner, overnight.
8th DAY. Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to the airport in Lamezia Terme, flight to Poland.
