2. DAY. MEXICO CITY Breakfast. Visiting MEXICO CITY, one of the largest metropolises in the world: a walk around the historic center of the city, entered on the UNESCO list: Zocalo - Constitution Square with the cathedral whose facade is dominated by 18th-century bell towers; The National Palace was erected on the site of the last Aztec ruler - Moctezuma, the interior of which is decorated with huge murals by Diego Rivera. A visit to the Anthropological Museum with a rich collection of pre-Columbian art. The museum also has a spectacular Aztec calendar with a diameter of over 3.5 m - it is also called the "Stone of the Sun" or "Stone of the Five Ers". Visiting the floating gardens of Xochimilco. Lunch on the boat. A cruise on the ancient canals in colorful trajiner boats will be made even more pleasant by the performance of El Mariachi. Transfer to CANTONY (House of the Sun) and sightseeing of the fortified city from the pre-Columbian period. In its heyday, around 1000 AD, it was the most urbanized city on the Mexican plateau.
