Description
1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Lisbon. Transfer to the hotel. Transfer by public transport to the Azulejos National Museum, located in one of the most beautiful monastic complexes in Lisbon, where the most interesting examples of the original tiles have been displayed, which have become an integral part of Portuguese architecture. Transfer to the area of Expo'98, called the Park of Nations. Visiting one of the largest oceanariums in the world, where the ecosystems of the Arctic, Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans are presented in huge aquariums. Return to the hotel. Accommodation, overnight.
2. DAY. Breakfast. City tour. A ride on a historic tram to the hill, where the castle of St. George. Admiring the panorama of Lisbon from the ramparts. Walk the narrow streets of the Moorish Alfama, Lisbon's oldest district. Sightseeing: cathedral, church of St. Vincent Outside the Walls - Lisbon's finest example of baroque architecture, the National Pantheon, which houses the tombs of great Portuguese personalities. A stroll through the streets of the Bairro Alto neighborhoods, an artistic district, crossing the famous Baixa squares: Rossio, Figueira and Restauradores. Entrance to the observation deck at the St. Justyna. Walk: St. Roch, the ruins of the Carmelite church. Time for a coffee at the famous Café A Brasileira. In the evening, optional (for an extra charge on site): fado concert with dinner. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. Breakfast. A visit to the National Museum of Old Art with a wonderful collection of paintings, sculptures and decorative items. Drive to Belem, a charming waterfront area full of monuments to the Portuguese golden age. Sightseeing: the monastery of the Hieronymites with the tomb of Vasco da Gama, entered on the UNESCO list, a masterpiece of Manueline art. A stroll around Belem and the opportunity to admire the Monument of Geographical Discoveries and the Belem Tower, one of the landmarks of the city, which once guarded access to the Lisbon port, and today is a symbol of national glory and pride. Time for a traditional cream cake in the most famous cafe in all of Lisbon - Pastéis de Belém. In the afternoon, optional (with an extra charge on site): a boat trip on the Tagus along the coast of Lisbon. Return to the hotel, overnight.
4. DAY. Breakfast. Checking out. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Poland.
