1. DAY. LIMA Welcome to Peru, the land of the Incas! Meeting at the airport in LIMA, transfer to your accommodation. Time to get acquainted and rest. Accommodation and overnight at a hotel in Lima.
2. DAY. LIMA - CUZO Breakfast. Check out. We start discovering the modern Lima with a visit to the Love Park, which offers not only romantic views of the Pacific, but also a unique atmosphere. A stroll through the old town with its historic sites such as Giron de la Union and Plaza de Armas will be an unforgettable experience. Then, visiting the San Francisco Monastery with its rich history and exploring the catacombs - it's a journey deep into the Peruvian heritage! After these fascinating monuments, the first opportunity to encounter the local Peruvian cuisine. Evening flight to CUZO located at an impressive altitude of 3300 m above sea level. is the next stage of the adventure. Accommodation and overnight at a hotel in Cusco.
3. DAY. CUZO Breakfast. We start acclimatization. It is a day full of historical discoveries and relaxation at CUZO, which is called the jewel of the Andes. A visit to the San Blas district with picturesque streets, colonial buildings and the traditional San Pedro market will allow you to experience the authentic Peruvian life. Then, a visit to the Coricancha Sun Temple - this mystical structure will provide a deeper understanding of Inca culture. The next stop will provide an unforgettable experience - the imposing structure of Saqsayhuaman, a testament to amazing engineering. The afternoon free time will allow you to relax and discover the charms of Cusco on your own. Return to your hotel in Cusco.
4. DAY. LAGUNA HUMANTAY Breakfast. Discovering the HUMANTAY LAGOON is on the agenda today. A walk among amazing landscapes and getting to know local flavors. During the 3-hour journey to Soraypampa at an altitude of approx. 3,900 m a.s.l. there will be an opportunity to admire the changing and picturesque Peruvian scenery. Upon arrival, the 2-kilometer uphill journey will begin, which will culminate in reaching the charming Lagoon at an altitude of approx. 4,200 m above sea level. Surrounded by snow-capped and majestic mountains, LAGUNA HUMANTAY will surely provide amazing views. After this inspiring experience, return to Soraypampa, then drive to Mollepata for lunch with a local family. This is not only a chance to taste traditional delicacies such as the sacred Inca cuy meat, but also a unique opportunity to get in touch with local culture and hospitality. Evening return to the hotel in Cusco.
5. DAY. SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - MARAS - PISAQ - MORAY - OLLANTAYAMBO Breakfast. Check out. Visiting the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the mystical salt mines of Maras, where you will find out about the unique traditions of salt extraction by the local community. The exploration of Pisaq's archaeological center and the bustling market will awaken your senses - here every step will be a journey back in time. Local buffet lunch. Then drive to the Inca plant experimentation laboratory in Moray. It is a place full of secrets, where the Incas conducted research into the cultivation of plants in various conditions. A night in the lively Inca city of OLLANTAYAMBO, where you can travel to the past while walking along the streets filled with tenement houses and historic walls. Accommodation and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6. ABRA MALAGA - MARANUA Breakfast. Check out. In the plan of the day, a ride on one of the most interesting cycling routes in Peru, the so-called Inka jungle. Access by private transport to the Abra Malaga Pass that begins the descent (approx. 4300 m above sea level). A bike ride with a view of the snow-capped Nevado Veronica (approx. 5750 m above sea level) will allow you to observe the changing landscape from the Andes to the high jungle. Downhill ride by bike (approx. 55 km / 2 hours). Afternoon arrival at the picturesque village of Maranua at an altitude of approx. 1120 m above sea level, where the group will be welcomed by a local family. Lunch. Visiting the Chuncho organic cocoa farm, discovering the secrets of chocolate - making your own chocolate in the process from plant to production. Accommodation, dinner and overnight at the hostel with a local family.
7th DAY. RAFTING ON THE URUBAMBA RIVER Breakfast with a local family, check out. Transfer to an unforgettable rafting adventure on the picturesque Urubamba River - the possibility of choosing a rafting trip of various difficulty from options I-IV, adjusting the experience to individual preferences and possibilities. Afternoon return to OLLANTAYTAMBO surrounded by the extraordinary scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Check in and overnight at a hotel in Ollantaytambo.
8th DAY. BEGINNING OF THE SALKANTAY TREKKING ROUTE: OLLANTAYTAMBO - SORAYPAMPA - ANDENERIA Breakfast, check out. Morning departure (approx. 4 am) to the starting point - the village of SORAYPAMPA at an altitude of approx. 3900 m above sea level. (journey approx. 3 hours). The village has a unique view of the snow-capped peaks of the Salkantay mountain range. Lunch. After a short rest, start of trekking. The highest point on the route is 4,600 m above sea level. - about 3 hours uphill, then descend to the camping in ANDENERIA at an altitude of approx. 3020 m above sea level (descent time approx. 2 hours). Rest, dinner and overnight in tents. The participant does not participate in setting up the camp. Approximate walking time: approx. 18 km, approx. 5-hour trekking.
9. DAY. LUCMABAMBA - LLAQTAPATA Breakfast. Continuation of the trek, this time down to Chaullay at an altitude of approx. 2950 m above sea level. (approx. 2 hours' walk) to the point where the transport will be waiting. Transfer to the village of LUCMABAMBA at an altitude of approx. 2,100 m above sea level. and a meeting with a local family who have devoted their entire lives to the production of coffee and honey. Tasting of aromatic coffee and honey with coca leaves, the so-called tour de aroma. Lunch. A further 3-hour trek along the original Inca trail leading to Machu Picchu, will lead to the LLAQTAPATA viewpoint at an altitude of approx. 2650 m above sea level, which will also be a place of evening rest. Dinner and overnight in a tent at a campground run by a local family. The participant does not participate in setting up the camp. Approximate walking time: approx. 12 km, approx. 5-hour trekking.
10. DAY. LLAQTAPATA - AQUAS CALIENTES Breakfast. After breakfast, an approximately 2-hour hike down to a point called Hidroelectrica (approx. 1,900 m above sea level) allowing you to discover the Aobamba River Valley with its lush bamboo forests. Lunch. From Hidroelectrica, a 3-hour trek, mainly on flat terrain, surrounded by the landscape of the high Cusco jungle, to the charming village of AQUAS CALIENTES (approx. 2000 m above sea level), which is the starting point for Machu Picchu. Dinner, accommodation and overnight at the hotel. Approximate walking time: approx. 15 km, approx. 5-hour trekking.
11. DAY. MACHU PICCHU Breakfast, check out and sightseeing MACHU PICCHU! It is an enigmatic sanctuary inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and recognized as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. It is surrounded by an aura of enigma and legend of the lost Inca city. After the sightseeing, return by bus to the village of Aquas Calientes, and then transfer by train to Cuzco surrounded by the landscape of the Peruvian mountains. Accommodation and overnight at a hotel in Cusco.
12. DAY. CHALLENGE: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (approx. 5,036 m above sea level) Breakfast. Early abortion trip to the starting point. Discovering the magic of Viñicunca, i.e. the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN located at an altitude of approx. 5036 m above sea level It is a magical place where the landscape takes on intense colors thanks to the richness of various minerals. Trekking to the top of the mountain and a visit to the Red Valley adjacent to Viñicunca, which tempts with its charm. A visit to this picturesque place adds a new dimension to this already unique experience. This challenging trekking challenge not only tests your fitness, but also rewards you with spectacular images that will remain in your memory forever. Buffet lunch during the day. Return to the hotel. Approximate walking time: approx. 4 hours both ways.
DAY 13. REST IN CUZCO Breakfast. Free time at CUZCO - the last moments for exploring the area and shopping. Return to the hotel.
14. DAY. LIMA Breakfast. Check out and flight to Lima, transfer and check-in at the hotel in a charming area by the ocean - Mira Flores. Afternoon going to a cooking class during which you will have the opportunity to prepare and taste traditional Peruvian dishes. The instructors will share their knowledge about the ingredients and the way of preparing the dishes, creating a friendly atmosphere for learning and tasting. The program includes: classic ceviche, duet causa (causa with clams with sauce and octopus in olive oil), lomo saltado. After the lesson, free time to rest and walk by the ocean. Overnight at the hotel.
15. DAY. Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport. Return flight to Poland.
