1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Larnaca. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time (depending on the time of arrival). Dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. GEROSKIPOU - PAFOS - PETRA TOU ROMIOU (route: approx. 150 km) Breakfast. Transfer to GEROSKIPOU. Passageway to the church of Agia Paraskevi from the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries, one of the most important Byzantine churches on the island. Panoramic drive past the "wish tree". Passage to the pillar of St. Paul, where, according to the legend, he was to be whipped. Transfer to PAFOS, a popular tourist destination on the south-west coast of the island. Due to the wealth of monuments, the city was entered on the UNESCO list. A visit to the Archaeological Park located in the part of the city called Kato Paphos and visiting the House of Dionysus with the famous Roman mosaics. Free time, for those willing to individually visit the remains of Saranda Kolones - "the castle of 40 columns" and the church of Agia Kyriaki, whose history is related to the stay of St. Paul in Cyprus. Drive towards the beach, where the famous PETRA TOU ROMIOU - Aphrodite's Rock is located. According to legend, it was in this place that the Greek goddess of love emerged from the sea foam. 3. DAY. LIMASSOL - KURION - OMODOS (route: approx. 100 km) Breakfast. Transfer to LIMASSOL, a seaside resort in the south of the island, famous for its beautiful beaches. Walk: Old Port, a castle built on the ruins of a Byzantine fortress. Drive towards the ruins of the ancient city of KURION, picturesquely situated on the edge of a coastal cliff. Visiting the excavation site, considered to be one of the most important in Cyprus. Noteworthy is the sumptuous Greco-Roman theater and floor mosaics. Transfer to OMODOS, enchanting with charming alleys and traditional buildings. The village is famous for the production of traditional lace and the production of wine. 4. DAY. KYKKOS MONASTERY - OLYMPIC MOUNTAIN - LANIA (route: approx. 160 km) Breakfast. Transfer to KYKKOS, the most famous monastery in Cyprus, located in the Troodos Mountains. You can admire numerous frescoes and icons, the most valuable of which is the icon of the Mother of God, written by Luke the Evangelist. Transfer to the viewpoint under the peak of the highest OLYMPIC MOUNTAIN on the island (1952 m above sea level). Transfer to the village of LANIA, located at the foot of the Troodos Mountains. Its name comes from the name of the daughter of the god Dionysus - the patron saint of the vine. Tasting of Cypriot liquors: sweet Commandaria wine and Ziwania grape vodka. Free time. 5. DAY. CHIROKITIA - LARNAKA - NISSI BEACH (route: approx. 240 km) Breakfast. Drive to the archaeological site of CHIROKITIA. It is one of the best-preserved examples of the original settlement on the island. In 1998, Chirokitia was entered on the UNESCO list. Transfer to LARNAKA, a popular resort on the south coast, a city rich in history, the birthplace of the ancient philosopher Zeno of Kition. Free time around the boardwalk, along which there are numerous bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Visiting the church of Agios Lazaros, where the tomb and relics of St. Lazarus - the patron saint of Larnaca. Free time. Transfer to one of the most popular and beautiful beaches in Cyprus - NISSI BEACH. Free time on the beach. A visit to the rock "bridge of love". Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. NICOSIA (route: approx. 190 km) Breakfast. Transfer to NICOSIA, the only capital in the world divided into two parts: northern - Turkish and southern - Greek. Since 1974, the Green Line has separated the Republic of Cyprus from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is not recognized by anyone but the Turks themselves. Panoramic passage: Famagustian Gate - the largest and best-preserved city gate, Venetian walls. Passageway to the Archbishop's Palace and Independence Square. Visiting the Cyprus Museum - the largest and most important archaeological museum on the island. A visit to Faneromeni Square. Free time in the old town. A walk through the streets of the Turkish part of the city: the old Büyük Han caravanserai - the most magnificent example of Ottoman architecture in Cyprus, the Selim mosque - formerly the cathedral of St. Sophia Cathedral, the oldest Gothic building in Cyprus. 7th DAY. SALAMINA - FAMAGUSTA - VAROSIA (route: approx. 260 km) Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): full day excursion. Transfer to the Turkish part of the island, towards the ruins of the ancient SALAMINA, whose mythical founder, according to the legend, was Teukros returning from the Trojan War. Visiting the archaeological site. Transfer to FAMAGUSTA - until 1974 the most important port in Cyprus, a city picturesquely situated on the north-eastern coast. Walk through the old town surrounded by medieval walls, one of the best-preserved Venetian fortifications. Visiting the mosque of Lala Mustafa Pasha, the former church of St. Nicholas and the most magnificent gothic temple on the island. Free time. Transfer towards WAROSIA - an abandoned district of Famagusta. Before the conflict broke out, it was a bustling resort popular with world-famous stars. As a result of the events of 1974, Varosia was abandoned by Greek residents and has been controlled by the military ever since. Recently, it has been available to tourists and former residents to a limited extent. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
