Called the Emerald Island and Green Diamond of the Aegean Sea captivates with all the shades of blue and green. Gentle green hills covered with pine forests descend scenically into the cobalt blue sea, the silver olive groves for centuries have been providing olive oil, sweets dipped in fragrant honey tempt. Life is still lived here according to traditional Greek customs, without hurry, enjoying every moment.

LOCATION: approx. 1 km from the center of POTOS with shops and bars, a local road nearby, approx. 200 m from a mini-market; approx. 65 km from the airport in Kavala (transfer by coach and ferry); bus stop approx. 30 m from the hotel.
BEACH: Pefkari, public, shingle and rock, sandy in some places, gently shelving beach, awarded with the Blue Flag certificate, approx. 50 m from the hotel, access to the beach via a path, umbrellas and sunbeds payable (approx. 6 EUR / set to use in the bar they belong to); Metalia, public, sand and shingle, approx. 1.5 km from the hotel.

The programme includes among others: Limenas - the capital of the island, where today's buildings interact with the monuments from 2600 years ago, the picturesque mountain village of Panagia with a maze of cobbled streets and stone, white houses and the spring of love, the peninsula of Aliki with ancient temples and wealth of marble and the Archangel Michael Monastery with the famous relic - a fragment of a nail of the cross of Christ. Jeep Safari — discovering Thassos by jeeps is an unforgettable experience and a great opportunity to see the less known, more wild part of the island and to experience its amazing nature. There are many beautiful and hard-to-reach places along the way: the marble quarry, Ipsarion - the highest peak of the island and the St. Panteleimon Monastery. The safari route also leads to the Kastro waterfalls and small lake Maries. The programme includes a barbecue lunch on a beautiful plateau overlooking Golden Beach. Day trip. Magic Macedonia — a visit to the mainland is also a journey through time. Visiting the largest archaeological site in eastern Macedonia: the ruins of the ancient city of Philippi, founded by Philip II of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great. Here you can admire the amphitheater, the cathedral, basilicas, and even the prison of St. Paul. All this forms an image of everyday life in the period from the 4th century BC to the 6th century AD. In the romantic scenery you’ll be able to listen to the story of St. Lydia, who was baptized here as the first European. On your way back a visit to Kavala, one of the largest and most beautiful Greek cities with a beautiful old part of the town - Panagia. Free time. Day trip.
