1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Funchal. Transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival: free time, dinner, overnight.
2nd DAY. FREE TIME Breakfast. Free time - rest in a hotel or participation in optional trips. Dinner, overnight stay.
3. DAY. FUNCHAL - MONTE HILL - EIRA TO SERRADO - NUN'S VALLEY - CAMARA DE LOBOS Breakfast. Excursion to the center of the island: a cable car ride over the FUNCHAL rooftops on the MONTE HILL. Sightseeing: the sanctuary of Our Lady, tropical garden with relict and endemic plants of Madeira. Optional (with an extra charge on site): crazy wicker sleigh ride. A picturesque mountain road leads to the heart of Madeira, where from the EIRA DO SERRADO panoramic terraces you can admire the magnificent view of the mountain chasms. Lunch. Transfer to a secluded village in the NUNS VALLEY and tasting the local specialty - chestnut liqueurs. The route then continues to CAMARA DE LOBOS, a typical fishing village, Winston Churchill's favorite spot. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
4. DAY. CABO GIRÃO - RIBEIRA BRAVA - ENCUMENADA PASS - CALHETA - PORTO MONIZ - FLAT PAUL DA SERRA - MADALENA DO MAR Breakfast. A full-day trip around the western part of the island. A great opportunity to admire the bay of Funchal from the viewpoint on the second highest cliff in Europe, CABO GIRÃO (589 m above sea level). Drive through the fishing village of RIBEIRA BRAVA, the translation of which means the Wild River. A walk in the picturesque surroundings: a rocky beach, the remains of a small fort from the 17th century, the church of St. Benedict. Drive over the ENCUMENADA PASS, located between the two deepest valleys on the island. Stop at a vantage point with a magnificent view of the north and south coasts. Transfer to the small town of CALHETA. Visiting the sugar cane processing plant - getting to know the process of processing sugar cane along with its historical background, ending with a rum tasting. Transfer to PORTO MONIZ, a popular resort where you can admire the natural rock pools. Lunch. Climbing the extraordinary PAUL DA SERRA FLAT, known as the mountain moorland or the Madeiran tundra. Part of the route runs through the ancient laurel forest under the patronage of UNESCO. Stop at MADALENA DO MAR, a quiet seaside resort. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
5. DAY. FUNCHAL - PICO DOS BARCELOS Breakfast. Visiting FUNCHAL, the capital of Madeira. Ascent to the PICO DOS BARCELOS viewpoint (355 m above sea level), from where you can admire a wonderful panorama of the city. Walk: around the port, the 15th-century Manueline cathedral, the Parliament building of Madeira, the citadel of St. Lawrence. A visit to the famous The Old Blandy Wine Lodge, founded by John Blandy, who started the wine tradition that continues on the island. Getting to know the production process and history of Madeira wine. Tasting the unique Madeiran wine, which owes its unique taste, inter alia, to aging in oak barrels. A visit to the famous city market, Mercado dos Lavradores, the most colorful part of the city. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
6. DAY. QUINTA BOTANICAL GARDEN FOR PALHEIRO - PICO DE ARIEIRO - LAS LAURISSILVA - SANTANA - ST. WAWRZYNCA Breakfast. A visit to the Quinta do Palheiro botanical garden at the Blandy family estate with enchanting vegetation brought from all over the world, arranged in the style of 19th-century English mansions. Ascent to PICO DE ARIEIRO - the third largest peak of Madeira (1818 m above sea level), from which, in good weather conditions, you can see the crown of the island and spectacular mountain landscapes. Walk the levada through the ancient LAS LAURISSILVA. Lunch. A visit to the unique open-air museum of traditional thatched houses in the village of SANTANA, admiring the cliff landscape of the ST. WAWRZYŃCA, viewpoints with the panorama of Orla Rock, the islands of Porto Santo, Desertas and the airport runway supported by 180 columns. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
