Delhi is the quintessence of modern India, a city full of contrasts, where unimaginable wealth and extreme poverty as well as history and modernity coexist side by side. Visiting Old Delhi: Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India, Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Passageway to the buildings of the Red Fort - a huge citadel made of red sandstone, entered on the UNESCO list. A walk through Chandni Chowk - the main artery of the Old Town, which is also a bustling bazaar. Sightseeing of New Delhi: the Qutb Minar complex with visible influences of Hindu architecture and Islam, Humayun's mausoleum - the tomb of a Mughal ruler from the 16th century.
