Description
1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Direct flight to Sri Lanka.
2. DAY. PINNAWALA - KANDY Arrival in Sri Lanka. Transfer to the town of PINNAWALA, where the world's first orphanage for elephants is located. The possibility of observing the ritual of their bathing in the nearby Ma Oya River and feeding. Transfer to KANDA, the last capital of ancient Ceylon, a treasury of culture, arts and crafts. Visiting the temple where the relic of Buddhists - Buddha's tooth is kept. Then a visit to the local bazaar. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
3. DAY. PERADENIYA - NANU OYA - NUWARA ELIYA Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to PERADENIYA, from where the journey by train to NANU OYA will begin. The route passes through the amazing landscapes of the jungle and mountains. On its way, the train passes the villages scattered among the fields. It is a unique opportunity to get to know the daily, difficult life of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival in Nanu Oya, transfer by coach to NUWARA ELIYA - a town picturesquely situated among the mountains, called Little England due to the still palpable colonial influences and a slightly cooler microclimate. A stroll through the beautiful surroundings and a charming town in a colonial, British style. Check-in at the hotel, dinner, overnight.
4. DAY. P.N. THE PLAINS OF HORTON - ELLA Breakfast in the form of a package. Early in the morning, check out and depart towards the HORTON RUNN NATIONAL PARK. A walking trip along the tourist trail (approx. 3-4 hours) is surprisingly diverse. The route leads through numerous streams cutting through grassy plains and an evergreen jungle full of sounds. In the park you can meet such animals as muntins, sambars, weasels, leopards and the symbol of Sri Lanka - giant squirrels. Many species of amphibians and reptiles live by the streams. Drive towards the mountain village of ELLA, surrounded by tea fields. On the way, visiting one of the tea plantations. Visiting Ella by motoriksha, the so-called tuk-tukami, which are the primary means of communication in Sri Lanka. On the route, among others Nine Arches Bridge - an extremely picturesque railway viaduct located in the heart of the jungle. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. ELLA Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. A light trek to the Little Adams Peak hill (1141 m above sea level) from where there is a breathtaking view of the mountains covered with dense forest. Free time. Drive towards Yala at the southeastern tip of the island. On the way, a stop at the Ravana waterfall, named after one of the first kings of Sri Lanka. Arrival in Yala and check-in at the hotel. Free time. Dinner, overnight.
DAY 6. P.N. YALA - GALLE - CALUTAR Early in the morning, a jeep trip to the YALA NATIONAL PARK, where you can meet the countless animals that inhabit the island. In the park you can find flamingos, cormorants, wild elephants, numerous herds of water buffalos, crocodiles, peacocks and leopards. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Check out. Drive towards GALLE, a fort city entered on the UNESCO list. A walk around the lighthouse and the port with a history dating back to colonial times. Visiting the imposing fort built by Europeans. Free time. Transfer to the town of KALUTARA on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. Accommodation at the beach hotel. Dinner, overnight.
7th DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing. Dinner, overnight.
8th DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing or optionally (for an additional fee on site): transfer to KOLOMBO, the colorful capital of Ceylon. The program includes a fort, a bazaar with a Hindu temple, Independence Square, the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall with a replica of the Buddha. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight
9. DAY. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport in Colombo and direct flight to Poland. For people who extend their stay for recreation: transfer to the airport, transfer to the selected hotel.
