Description
1. DAY. Collection of participants at the airport. Direct flight to Corfu. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time (depending on the time of arrival). Dinner, overnight.
2. DAY. GJIROKASTRA - SYRI I KALTER (route: approx. 160 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Ferry crossing to Albania. Transfer to GJIROKASTA, the stone city of the former dictator Enver Hoxha, entered on the UNESCO list. Entrance to the Lalaja fortress, visiting one of the museums located within its walls. A walk through the charming old town with stone houses. Free time to explore the Skenduli home, a traditional Albanian "kulle", a house with well-preserved furnishings. Transfer to SYRI I KALTER, a crystal clear spring called the "Blue Eye", considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Albania. According to legend, the underwater spring was created from the tears of a slain dragon that was kidnapping girls from the surrounding villages. Free time for souvenir photos. 3. DAY. BUTRINTI - KSAMIL - SARANDA (route: approx. 70 km) Breakfast. Transfer to BUTRINTI, an ancient port city called the "Balkan Pompeii", entered on the UNESCO list. Visiting the archaeological site, including the remains of the Roman baths, the agora, the amphitheater, the temple of Asclepius, the ceremonial avenue and the temple of Minerva. Transfer to KSAMIL, a popular Albanian resort on the Ionian Sea. The sea and beautiful beaches, shimmering with many colors of turquoise, have made this region the "Albanian Caribbean". 4. DAY. FREE TIME / JEEP SAFARI (route: approx. 80 km) Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): Jeep trip around the towns around Saranda. 5. DAY. ACHILLION - KERKYRA (route: approx. 60 km) Breakfast. Checking out. Ferry crossing in Corfu. A visit to the ACHILLION Palace from the end of the 19th century, built for the Empress Sissi. The neoclassical summer residence hides magnificent interiors inspired by the myth of Achilles and paradise gardens overlooking the sea. 6. DAY. PANTOKRATOR - PERULADES - DRASTIS CAP - SIDARI (route: approx. 80 km) Breakfast. Sightseeing in the north of the island. Transfer and hike to the highest peak of Corfu - PANTOKRATOR, at an altitude of 906 m above sea level. From the top you can see the entire island and the Albanian coast.
