Description
1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Bari, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation, free time, half board, overnight stay.
2. DAY. BARI - POLIGNANO A MARE Breakfast. Transfer to the center of BARI - the capital of the Apulia region. Sightseeing: the Basilica of San Nicola where Bona Sforza is buried, the Cathedral of San Sabino. A walk around the old town. Free time. Transfer to POLIGNANO A MARE - a seaside resort, on a picturesque rocky cliff with many caves. Here you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of intimate beaches hidden among the rocks. A boat trip along the waterfront with a visit to the most beautiful caves. Free time. Optional (for an extra charge on site): half board in a stylish restaurant serving local dishes. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. OTRANTO - LECCE Breakfast. Transfer to OTRANTO lying at the junction of two seas: Adriatic and Ionian, one of the most interesting places in the region. A stroll through the old town, visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata and the Aragonese Castle. Walk on the promenade picturesquely situated on the rocks, from where there is a view of the sea and the surrounding area. Transfer to LECCE, called the Florence of the South, located in the heart of the Salentinian Peninsula, on the heel of an Italian shoe and famous for its beautiful buildings in the style known as the "Baroque of Lecce". A walk through the historic old town: Piazza Sant'Oronzo, Basilica of Santa Croce, Teatro Romano, Piazza del Duomo. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
4. DAY. CASTELLANA - ALBEROBELLO - OSTUNI Breakfast. Transfer to GROT CASTELLANA - visiting the karst caves, considered one of the most important in Italy, with beautiful rock formations. Drive to ALBEROBELLO and visit the "trulli" district, fairy-tale houses with conical stone roofs. Then drive to the charming OSTUNI, also known as the White City because of the dominant white color of the old town. Walk around the center, free time for souvenir photos. Return to the hotel, free time, half board, overnight stay.
5. DAY. LOCOROTONDO Breakfast. Transfer to the charming town of LOCOROTONDO, considered a gem of this part of Italy, entered on the list of the most beautiful towns in Italy. The well-known wine bearing the name of the village is also produced in these areas. A walk around the most interesting places in the town. Free time. Transfer to one of the vineyards in the area, acquaintance with the process of wine making, tasting of 4 types of drink. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight stay.
6. DAY. REST Breakfast. Free time for sunbathing. Half-board, overnight stay.
7. DAY. MATERA Breakfast. Free time or optional (for an extra charge on site): a trip to the Basilicata region. Transfer over the Bay of Tarenka to MATERA. A visit to the phenomenal city suspended on the rock of a deep ravine. Visiting the Sassi district, the former center of Matera. Tasting of local products (for an extra charge on site). Free time. 8. DAY. Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to the airport in Bari, flight to Poland.
