Local excursions
Balchik - White City - an afternoon trip to the town of Balchik, also known as the White City due to the color of the stone used to build houses in the past. Visit to the Quiet Nest - the summer residence of Queen Maria of Romania, and the nearby botanical garden with 3,000 species of plants, including 250 species of cacti. Drive and walk along the picturesque Cape Kaliakra, monumental cliffs, where a powerful fortress was located in the farthest point in the Middle Ages. Kaliakra, roughly translated as "miraculous cape," was once a great inspiration for artists and now is the most beautiful part of the Bulgarian coast. In the evening, a traditional Bulgarian feast with plenty of wine and rakia, combined with a folklore program and a show of nestinar dance on hot coals. Ancient Nessebar - a trip to the picturesque historic town of Nessebar located on a peninsula, inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. The town's architecture, one of the oldest in Europe, is considered the best-preserved medieval architecture in the Balkans. Nessebar, known as the pearl of the Black Sea and the symbol of Orthodox civilization, is the biggest attraction of the coast. Walking through a labyrinth of colorful, cobbled streets, visiting, among others, the churches of St. Stephen and St. Spas, lunch in a restaurant, free time. Full-day trip. Varna - Dolphinarium - a trip to the dolphinarium in Varna combined with a panoramic tour of the city. The program includes a visit to the second-largest Orthodox church in Bulgaria and free time in the city center. An opportunity to admire the dolphin show at the only dolphinarium on the Balkan Peninsula. An excellent entertainment for both adults and children. Price - approx. 32 EUR, children under 12 - approx. 22 EUR.
Pirate Party - a several-hour trip on a pirate ship, especially attractive for children. The crew and equipment of the ship make everyone feel like a real sea pirate here. During the cruise, a "battle" with another pirate ship takes place. Onboard lunch with drinks. Animation programs, contests for children and adults with prizes. Price - approx. 33 EUR, children under 12 - 17 EUR (lunch, soft drinks, wine, and beer included).
Jeep Safari - an amazing off-road adventure in the Golden Sands Natural Park area to places located in the mountains, away from the resort. The program includes exciting jeep races and shooting with airguns. For photography enthusiasts, there are many opportunities to take pictures in beautiful, wild scenery. A trip for fans of active recreation who are not afraid of challenges. The adventure starts right after closing the car door, and lunch is included in the program - a barbecue. Price - approx. 35 EUR, children under 12 - approx. 18 EUR (lunch, soft drinks, wine, beer, and rakia included).
