Description
1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Departure to Thailand.
2. DAY. BANGKOK Arrival in Bangkok. Greeting at the airport by a local guide. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Optional (extra cost on site) on arrival: dinner cruise on the Chaophraya River, then free time on the famous Khao San Road, full of street food and a variety of stalls. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. BANGKOK Breakfast. Transfer to the Dusit district and visiting the Marble Temple, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century during the reign of King Rama V. It amazes with its classic proportions and European influences manifested in the stained glass windows and the use of Italian marble. Visiting the Temple of the Golden Buddha, where you can see, among others the largest Buddha statue in the world made of pure gold and weighing approx. 5.5 tons. Then, a stroll through the alleys of the Chinese district, local merchants sell almost everything here, from food to gold products. Walk through Pak Khlong Talad Market - This is Bangkok's largest flower market, where vendors offer garlands and bouquets of flowers to donate at temples. Take a boat to the west bank of the Chaophraya River, where Wat Arun is located - the Temple of Dawn, one of the most recognizable temples and a symbol of Bangkok. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Overnight.
4. DAY. SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP (route: approx. 400 km) Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Early morning departure from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet, a border town with Cambodia (approx. 5 hours). Around noon, crossing the border, then transfer to the city of SIEM REAP. Accommodation at the hotel, free time or optional (for an additional fee on site): a cruise on one of the largest lakes in this part of Asia - TONLE SAP. An interesting fact about the lake are floating villages - settlements that are built on the lake from connected boats. During the cruise, a stop in one of the floating villages and the opportunity to buy souvenirs. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
5. DAY. ANGKORBreakfast. Sightseeing of ANGKOR - the former capital of the Khmer state: the southern gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple, the Elephant's Terrace, the Leper King's Terrace and the Royal Palace. In the afternoon, visiting the famous Angkor Wat temple - the most perfect example of Khmer architecture. Return to the hotel. Optional (with an extra charge on site): balloon flight over the Angkor Wat temples. Return to the hotel. Optional (extra charge on site): dinner at a local restaurant combined with a show of traditional Khmer dances. Return to the hotel, dinner. Free time for shopping at Psar Chas night market. Overnight.
DAY 6. ANGKOR (route: approx. 150 km) Breakfast. The second day of exploring Angkor: the Banteay Srei temple, known as the Women's Fortress, and Ta Phrom, one of the most romantic temples in Angkor, where the filming of the movie "Tomb Raider" was shot. A visit to APOPO, a mine control center Cambodia is one of the most mined countries in the world, and rodents and dogs are currently being trained to detect them. Transfer to a silk farm, where you can see each stage of the production of silk clothes: from observing silkworms at different stages of development, to obtaining threads and weaving scarves. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
7th DAY. PHNOM PENH (route: approx. 350 km) Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Drive from Siem Reap to PHNOM PENH (approx. 5-6 hours). During the trip, the wonderful landscapes of provincial Cambodia. Upon arrival in the capital of Cambodia, check in at the hotel. A short cruise to Koh Dach, an island in the Mekong, famous for its handicraft production. Return to the hotel, dinner, overnight.
8th DAY. PHNOM PENH - BANGKOK Breakfast. Visiting the capital of Cambodia - PHNOM PENH: Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and the central market. Then, a visit to the Museum of Genocide and Death Fields, which will bring closer the dramatic history of the country, leaving a permanent mark on the inhabitants and the economy of the country. Lunch at a local restaurant. Flight to BANGKOKU, hotel accommodation, overnight.
9. DAY. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Free time (depending on departure time), transfer to the airport and departure to Poland. For people who extend their stay for a week's rest: breakfast, check-out, transfer to the airport. Transfer to the selected hotel.
