Description
1. DAY. Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Bilbao. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Depending on the time of arrival: free time, overnight.
2. DAY. Breakfast. Visiting BILBAO, the largest and most modern city of the Basque Country, enchanting with original structures created by famous architects. A stroll through Casco Viejo, an old quarter full of lively bars and charming corners with the famous "seven streets", with characteristic buildings, including the cathedral, inspired by the Paris Opera, the elegant Arriaga theater, and a variety of shops and cafes. Passage to the Guggenheim Museum, one of the most remarkable examples of 20th century architecture. The building that houses the Frank Gehry museum has become a symbol of Bilbao. The funicular ride to Mount Artxanda is an opportunity to admire the beautiful views of the city. Free time. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY. Breakfast. Drive and visit the small islet of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, a place that has gained popularity as the scenery of the "Game of Thrones". The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, 241 steps of stone steps lead up a winding path to its top. You will experience spectacular views that will remain in your memory for a long time. A visit to the vineyard combined with a tasting. Free time on the beach. Passage to the Biscay Bridge, the oldest ferry bridge in the world, declared a historic industrial property. The bridge, entered on the UNESCO list, is still today fully functional, the gondola suspended on its structure continuously runs to the other bank. For those willing (for an additional fee on site) entry by a panoramic lift to the height of 45 m. overnight stay.
