Description
1. DAY.Meeting of participants at the airport. Flight to Athens. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Evening walk in the city center (depending on the time of arrival). Overnight.
2. DAY.Breakfast. A walk around one of the most interesting European capitals. A visit to the Acropolis Museum, passing the Theater of Dionysus, the Odeon of Herod Attica to the Acropolis. Visiting the most famous Athenian buildings - the Parthenon, Erechtheum - the temple dedicated to Poseidon and Athena, the temple of Nike Apteros and the Pinacotheca and Propileye - the entrance gate. Passageway to the building of the Greek Parliament, formerly the Royal Palace, where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located. A walk through the Royal Gardens with the Zappio exhibition pavilion, where in 2004 President Aleksander Kwaśniewski signed the accession of Poland to the EU, the ruins of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Kallimarmaro Olympic Stadium - the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. The route then leads to the Plaka district - picturesquely situated at at the foot of the Acropolis, famous for its fancy buildings and winding streets full of atmospheric tavernas, nightclubs and shops. Return to the hotel, overnight.
3. DAY.Breakfast. Free time or participation in an optional trip (for an additional fee on site): a full-day cruise to the three islands of the Saronic Gulf: Aegina, Poros, Hydra. Embarkation in Piraeus - the largest Greek port. Cruise to Aegina, famous for its pistachio groves and the well-preserved ancient temple of Athena Afaya. Sail to Poros - a tiny, charming islet off the coast of the Peloponnese. The last of the marinas is the phenomenal Hydra with the captains' houses from the 18th century, the picturesque port with magnificent architecture and ... no car traffic. The only acceptable means of transport here are donkeys. It is a favorite place of artists and intellectuals looking for a break from the bustle of Athens. A branch of the Athens Academy of Fine Arts was opened here. Return to the hotel in the evening, overnight.
4. DAY.Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Poland.
