Italy — Apulia
We invite you to embark on an Italian adventure to Apulia - a fascinating region with a unique climate, where time flows slower and the inhabitants are smiling and friendly. This picturesque land located on the "heel" and "spur" of the Italian boot delights with its pristine beaches, azure sea, and atmospheric fishing villages. Tourists are also enchanted by the sleepy towns and green olive groves. In the kingdom of excellent wine and olive oil, the attachment to tradition is visible in numerous cultural events, local festivals, and fairs. History enthusiasts will find traces of ancient Greeks and Romans, Normans, Emperor Frederick II, and Spanish Bourbons. They all left behind interesting monuments, painstakingly restored and accessible to tourists. There are many worth visiting places here, including the regional capital - Bari, the port city of Brindisi, the extraordinary stone houses of Alberobello (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site), as well as the white city of Ostuni and the baroque town of Lecce, known as the Florence of the South.
