Tour of the island — the route of the tour leads through farm villages and cities of the fertile Es Pla plains in the direction of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. Further on mountainous hairpin roads to the Marian Sanctuary in Lluc - visiting the church of the Black Madonna. Then a drive with an impressive winding road with turns achieving even 180 degrees to Sa Calobra port on the west coast. The bay is also an estuary of the longest gorge on the island - Torrent de Pareis. During free time, walk through the rock tunnel to the picturesquely situated small beach called the Gates of Paradise. Boat cruise along the cliffs on the north coast of Majorca to the port Puerto de Soller. Ride on an historic, wooden tram to the charming town of Soller. Next, on the historic train through the famous Valley of the Oranges, mountain tunnels and groves of citrus trees to Palma, and on the way back to the hotel. The order of the tour may be changed. Palma and Valdemossa — drive to the south, towards the beautiful and cosmopolitan capital of Majorca located by the extensive Bahía de Palma Bay. A visit in Palma includes a stroll around the old city: La Seu Cathedral, Parc del Mar, the royal gardens of the Almudaina Palace, narrow streets and patios of merchant houses, the Town Hall, the vantage point at Castillo de Bellver Castle. Free time for shopping around Plaza Mayor, the main market of the city. Then passage through the mountains to a medieval village - Valldemossa, the place where in the winter of 1838 the Polish composer, Frederic Chopin, stayed together with the French writer George Sand. The Carthusian monastery, where the famous couple found refuge, is the most Polish accent in Majorca. For monastic aims, memorabilia has been exhibited documenting the presence of the Polish virtuoso on the island, among others. the piano on which Chopin composed the famous rain prelude. In free time a stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of this picturesque town, and also the opportunity to try local liqueurs. Day trip. Valldemossa — a trip to the most charming, mountainous part of the island. Drive along a road among olive fields to a height of approx. 425 m a.s.l., where Valldemosa is located. Formentor Peninsula and bazaar in Alcúdia — drive to Alcúdia where every Tuesday the largest market on the island takes place. The Dragon Caves — drive through the picturesque tourist towns on the east coast of Majorca. The road leads to the fishing village of Porto Cristo, where in the vicinity the of the port French geologists discovered underground caves in the 19th century. In ancient times they were an escape for privateers and pirates, who often tormented the island with their invasions, today they are a tourist attraction, available for visitors. Admiring many chambers that extend below the ground in seaside limestone cliffs over a length of several hundred meters. The bizarre shapes of the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites resemble marble cascade, organs, lace drapes and chandeliers with gems. Additionally, the programme of the trip includes a short visit to the factory of artificial pearls, which there will be an opportunity to learn about the process of production and purchase jewellery typical of the island (for guests from the south of the island) or a visit to a typical Majorcan farm.
