Dobry hotel, stara się być luksusowy i obsługa się stara ale ma mnóstwo niedociągnięć: Codziennie brakuje leżaków na plaży. Dostać leżak na basenie graniczy z cudem. Na 7 dni 3 razy nie były wydawane ręczniki plażowe bo zabrakło. Przez 2 dni nie były wydawane świeże kokosy. Przez pozostałe 5dni kokosy były od godz 12 a nie jak w umowie od 10. Ptasie odchody nie są nigdy czyszczony z elementów takich jak lampy murki ogrodzenia. Jedzenie w restauracjach dla gości ‚rotana club’ przepyszne i bez zarzutu. W ogólnodostępnych restauracjach jedzenie dobre ale nie wspaniałe i ograniczony wybór.

Hotel bardzo słaby. wi-fi działało tylko w pokoju, na plaży czy na terenie hotelu niestety nie. non stop trzeba było się logować ponownie. Jedzenie bardzo słabe, monotonne, codziennie to samo. żadnych kuchni tematycznych, zmian. Osoby, które glutenu jeść nie mogą bardzo słabo traktowane. hotel w swojej ofercie posiada maleńkie bulki bez glutenu oraz makaron spaghetti. żadnych naleśników na zamówienie, pizzy czy słodyczy. Zero- porażka na całej linii. na plaży, swoją drogą bardzo brudnej, niezadbanej. (Pełno śmieci, petów, resztek jedzenia ) kradną ręczniki a za "zgubiony" ręcznik/ brak karty trzeba zapłacić 10 riali omańskich, co daje 100 złotych polskich. Tłumaczenia pani/ panu w recepcji, że ktoś ukradł nam ręczniki podczas naszej chwilowej nieobecności na plaży nic się zadały, trzeba było zapłacić...Oczywiście leżaki trzeba zając o godzinie 6 rano bo inaczej można pomarzyć, by gdzieś się rozłożyć. Z każdego zakątka hotelu wypraszają, bo trzeba mieć odpowiednia bransoletkę, nieważne, że puste plaże i puste ręczniki, wyrzucą was... Polecono nam ten hotel ze względu na animacje dla dzieci, których absolutnie żadnego dnia nie było. 7 długich dni ciszy, nie gra żadna muzyka w barach czy restauracjach. Cisza i nuda jak makiem zasiał. W hotelu nie dzieje się absolutnie nic. Zero atrakcji a o dzieciach już nie wspomnę. Owszem, są animacje dla dzieci o godzinie 21, na które dziecka nie warto przeciągać, ponieważ jest puszczana muzyka z lat 80tych i pan robi w tym czasie ( na jednej piosence) dzieciom bańki. ot, cała atrakcja... Później wraca za konsole i 3/4 piosenki gada, żenada. Dzieci stoją, rozglądają się, czekają na coś i zastanawiają się co tu robić... Pokoje czystością również nie grzeszą a obsługa potrafi zadzwonić o 22-23 budzą przy tym wszystkich by poprosić o wypełnienie ankiety!

Łącznie z oswojonymi papugami i tpJedzenie na maxa .Może brak owoców morza ale restauracja tematyczna dostępna za niewielką dopłatą. Bardzo pozytywna opinia, pokoje bardzo czyste, sprzątane codziennie. Przemiła obsługa, nie czeka się na kelnera, wyjątkowo szybko obsługują. Wyzywienie świetne, jest każdego dnia inny temat kuchni. Również gotowanie pokazowe. Polecam główną restaurację, tan przy plazy trochę z mniejszym wyborem oraz krócej czynna. Można przjehac się do hotelu obok - Fanar i tam też zjeść. Przy plazy są budki z dużą ilocią jedzenia przekąskowego. Dodatkowo sa wiezory Barbeque oraz owoce morza, ale dodatkowo płatne. Plaża cudowna - wielka, piaszczysta, ocean ciepły. Piekne baseny - duże i głębokie i osobny dla dzieci. Piękna zieleć i swietnie utrzymana. Co do animacji to raczej ten drugo hotel - Fanar, tam mają amfiteatr i jeśliktośma dzieci to super. Dla dzieci jest też aquapark, ale nie byłam tam. Co do mankamentów - trzeba było wstawać o 7.00 aby zajac miejsce na plaży na leżaku, zdecydowanie hotel musi dokupić leżaki i parasole. I jeszcze mnóstwo leżków połamanych. Trochę to dziwi przy tak wysokiej jakości wszytskich innych apsektów. I niestety drinki fatalne, nie wiedzą jak je robić, a więc ten aspekt był słąby. Natomiast wino i piwo bardzo OK.

Hotel Rotana jest przepięknie zaprojektowany - muszę sprawdzić, kto był architektem - zapomniałam spytać :) Od wejścia, przez piękną recepcję, która wspaniale 'gra' światłami i cieniami w dzień i w nocy, przez cały przepięknie zadbany teren. Polecam spacer nocą dokoła - odbicia świateł nocą w kanałkach są bajkowe. bardzo sprytnie zorganizowane są basen, budki z jedzeniem przy plaży, dojście do cypelka zatoki czy przejście na drugą stronę i dojście do drugiego, sąsiadującego hotelu. Plaża jest cudowna - nie dziwię się, że z hoteli obok przychodzi spora grupa plażowiczów. Można z rana zobaczyć wschód słońca po lewej, a i sporą część zachodu da się zobaczyć ponad palmami na plaży. Można tam siedzieć do chwili kiedy pojawią się gwiazdy. Morze jest cudowne, przepięknie szumi za dnia i w nocy. Obsługa przemiła, dzięki opaskom wiedzą skąd jest gość i bez pytania skąd jesteśmy po prostu przywitają się w naszym języku. Pracownicy w ogrodzie bardzo o niego dbają. Bardzo wygodne miejsce na spacer i za dnia i w nocy. Jedzenie bardzo różnorodne, obsługa każdego z punktów wie co jest podawane, jeśli coś się kończy szybciutko jest donoszone. Obsługa na 10 gwiazdek - naturalnie przemiła, nienamolna, nie przeszkadza w urlopie - wiedzą dobrze, jak zapewnić turystom spokój i zapewnić wszystko, czego mogli by potrzebować.

Obsługa bardzo miła i uprzejma. Plaża czysta. Woda w morzu oraz w basenach bardzo czysta i co najważniejsze bardzo ciepła. Jedyne uwagi - należy pamiętać, by nie zostawiać na murkach basenowych np. okularów przeciwsłonecznych, bo znikają. Na pewno by się przydało delikatne zadaszenie, nawet w formie takich zwiewnych tkanin, jakie są czasem nad placami zabaw nad basenem dla dzieci, bo słońce jest naprawdę bardzo mocne. Mini Disco dla dzieci na bardzo niskim poziomie. Show dla dorosłych też słabe.

Hotel Rotana spełnił wszystkie nasze oczekiwania -a trochę już po świecie polataliśmy ;) Długo wahaliśmy się przed samym wyborem hotelu Rotana, czy Fanar, jednak kierując się wcześniejszymi opiniami oraz z naszym ulubionym Panem Mateuszem z biura podróży podjęliśmy decyzję. Co nas zaskoczyło, to opieka Itaki oraz pracowników hotelu, którzy czekali już na nas po wylądowaniu -co do rezydentów to oczywiście standard, ale zanim doszliśmy do autokaru mieliśmy w locie błyskawicy opaski hotelowe na rękach, przydzielony pokój, opaski na walizki, które pożegnaliśmy na lotnisku i czekały już na nas w pokoju. Wszystko działo sie w ekspresowym tempie:) Jeżeli chodzi o sam Resort, to coś wspaniałego…pokój z widokiem ma morze, przestronny, wygodny i czysty. Jedzenie przepyszne i urozmaicone, plaza jedna z piękniejszych na jakich byliśmy, liczny wybór restauracji, wieczorki z muzyką na żywo i występami, piękna Marina ze sklepikami. Obsługa bardzo dbająca i troskliwa, ale nienachalna. Mogłabym tak pisać w nieskończoność…ale jeżeli ktoś jeszcze się waha, to szczerze polecam :). Gdyby nie długi męczący lot, we wrześniu wybralibyśmy ten sam hotel. Jednak samolot lini Enter kompletnie nie nadaje się na 7 godzinny lot…choć na krótsze dystanse jest oczywiście ok

Przynajmniej dla mnie wszystko było na wysokim standarcie. Lubię ten hotel, dla tego odwiedziłem już drugi raz. Kiedyś na jesień jeszcze raz wrócę.

Wycieczki dostępne na miejscu
Eastern and Western Salalah — the main attractions of Eastern and Western Salalah during a day trip! A trip to the east. Visiting the fishing village of Taqah - a place with a fascinating castle, surrounded by watchtowers and stone houses. Drive to Khor Rori Lake, where you will find the ruins of the city of Sumhuram - the ancient capital of the Arab frankincense trade, sightseeing. Then a visit to the Wadi Darbat nature reserve, where you can admire majestic views of waterfalls, lakes, hills, caves and lush green vegetation. Drive to Mirbat, a former fishing village with a rich history and a walk through the city streets. Mirbat is also a port with frankincense trade and an ancient Arabian horse breeding center. Then a drive to Al-Mughsail beach, where sea water is thrown out through openings in the limestone rock. To the west of Salalah there are many beautiful beaches and Al-Mughsail is one of the most popular. Along the entire route there are numerous raw, leafless frankincense trees - incense from the province of Zufar is considered to be the best in the world. Day trip. Mountain Safari 4x4 — departure early in the morning to the east (by 4x4 cars). Visiting the fishing village of Taqah - an old village with a fascinating castle, surrounded by watchtowers and stone houses. Then a drive to Wadi Darbat - one of the most interesting places in the province of Zufar, a reserve hidden among the hills, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Khor Rori and Taqah on the coast. During the Khareef - the monsoon season - the water level rises and a portion of it remains in the park all year round, making it an attraction for visitors. The next point on the route is Tawi Atayr (Well of the Birds), one of the most beautiful sinkhole, which is crossed by the limestone rocks of the Salalah hills. The depth of the sinkhole is more than 100 meters (330 feet), and with the help of a local guide you can go down the path to the bottom. Continuation of the journey along the Jebel Samhan Upland to the breathtaking plateau at an altitude of almost 1700 metres above the sea level. Then a drive to the Salalah antigravity point to see how cars in neutral gear automatically go uphill. It's a really amazing experience - a car can travel at speeds ranging from 40 to 60 kilometres per hour! Camel farm — a visit to the Salalah Farm, located near the Qara Mountains. The tour will start with a presentation of the cultivated fruit and vegetables, prepared by a guide. Then, a walk around the farm and time for taking photos. A short walk through a coconut plantation and tasting a cool coconut drink with fresh bananas straight from a farm. Walk to the farm of camels, which are the main means of transport for the inhabitants of the desert, as well as a source of milk, meat and wool. The guide will show you how to communicate with camels and will tell you about their history, and a farm worker will show you how to milk camels and how to climb the coconut tree to get fruit. A possibility to take a short ride on a camel for volunteers. At the end, traditional dinner on the farm. Half-day trip. Salalah City Tour — a trip to Salalah, the southern city of gardens, a tropical paradise. The tour starts at the archaeological site of Al-Baleed, where archaeological exhibits from the region are presented (open: from Sunday to Thursday: 8.30-20.00, Friday to Saturday: 15.00-20.00). Then you will visit the gardens with lush groves, where coconuts, bananas, papayas and numerous vegetables grow. Time for taking pictures at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, where you can find beautiful works of art and painted tiles. Finally, a visit to Al-Husn Souq, where incense and traditional burners are sold. Half-day trip. Price - approx. 55 USD.
Lost City of Ubar and Rub Al-Khali — visiting the lost city of Ubar, where the remains of ancient buildings were discovered in 1992. It is believed that Ubar was inhabited from approx. 2800 BC to approx. 300 AD and was an important centre of frankincense trade before it was absorbed by the rising dunes. There is a small museum presenting archaeological findings. The Rub Al-Khali Desert stretches from the foot of the mountains, creating a huge sandy plain. The region is known for its archaeological sites. The program also includes Wadi Dawkah, where you can see incense trees, then free time in Thumrait. Day trip. Price - approx. 170 USD (includes: non-alcoholic beverages; meal not included - approx. 20 USD).
A night in the Rub Al-Khali desert — an unforgettable night in the Rub Al-Khali - the world's largest sandy desert. In the afternoon, depart in Jeeps towards the desert. On the way, a short stop at a camel farm, time for taking photos. Then entering the biggest dunes in the area of Al-Hashman, from where you can admire the beautiful sunset. Setting up the camp, lighting a bonfire, dinner. Admiring the beautiful sky full of stars. Overnight stay. Breakfast. On the way back, a stop in Wadi Dawkah valley, where you can see frankincense trees. Price - approx. 200 USD, children up to 12 y.o. - approx. 100 USD (the price includes the care of a English-speaking guide, breakfast, dinner and soft drinks).
