Jedyny, ale poważny minus: archaiczna klimatyzacja w pokoju (głośny wentylator, pomimo możliwości ustawienia temperatury trudno wysterować, sprzyja natychmiastowemu przeziębieniu). Wyżywienie: Poprawne, ale bez rewelacji. Dania smaczne, ale ich wybór dość monotonny. Dwie kolacje z dodatkowym grillem z lokalnymi daniami wywarły wrażenie, ale zdecydowanie tak powinno być codziennie! Ocena byłaby znacznie wyższa. Poza tym BARDZO uboga lista napojów w formule all inclusive! Obsługa: Bez zastrzeżeń. UWAGA: pomimo informacji ITAKA iż w Omanie są honorowane banknoty USD wydane OD 2006 roku (tak jest przy wizach), hotel honoruje tylko wydane PO 2006 roku. Animacje: Brak animacji w hotelu i na basenie zdecydowanie na plus! Pod koniec pobytu pojawiło się po południu trochę krzyku włoskich animatorów, ale szczęśliwie nie udało im się rozruszać gości. Położenie: Lokalizacja hotelu ma znaczenie tylko w aspekcie ogólno-geograficznym, ponieważ ten rejon Omanu ma korzystny temperaturowo mikroklimat. Plaża: Bliżej hotelu bez dostępu do wody. Oddalona od hotelu o 200-300 m plaża z dostępem do wody opanowana przez krzykliwych włoskich animatorów praktycznie uniemożliwiających wypoczynek. Kąpielisko w sensie piaszczystego dna o wielkości basenu. Dalej dla amatorów snurkowania. Atrakcje dostępne w okolicy: W okolicy znajduje się wiele ciekawych miejsc, ale zdecydowanie przyrodniczych, do obejrzenia w ramach organizowanych wycieczek. Warto! Stosunek jakości do ceny: Tu trzeba by użyć porównania, a ja mam zbyt małe doświadczenie. Cena chyba jednak zbyt duża za oferowany standard. Byłaby uzasadniona przy znacznie lepszym wyżywieniu i lepszej ofercie plażowej. Do tego jeszcze brak komfortu podróży! Komfort podróży/przelot: Makabra. Rzędy siedzeń w samolocie zagęszczone do bólu! Mam 174 cm wzrostu i nie miałem jak ułożyć nóg. Na w sumie 7-godzinny lot, to nie do przyjęcia. Oferowane płatne posiłki o standardzie lokalnej linii. No i lądowanie na 'stacji benzynowej' zabierające ok. godziny. Oj, nie za tę cenę wycieczki...

Jeżeli ktoś szuka spokoju, to idealne miejsce, ponieważ hotel znajduje się na pustyni, najbliższe miasto znajduje się 5 km od Marriota. Pokoje czyściutkie (codziennie sprzątane). Nam niestety trafiły się dwa osobne łóżka, a ze względu na obłożenie w tamtym tygodniu, nie udało się tego zmienić. Obsługa w hotelu niesamowicie miła. Jedzenie bardzo regionalne, trudno znaleźć tam np hamburgera, co dla niektórych będzie pewnie plusem. Przy hotelu rano trzeba zajmować sobie miejsce, żeby było później gdzie leżeć. Natomiast przy morzu o miejsca łatwiej. W hotelu sami Niemcy, Włosi i Polacy. Animacje tylko włoskie, brakuje ich po polsku. Przekąski przy basenie to właściwie tylko lody oraz napoje, all inclusive w Omanie jest całkiem inny od tego w europejskich hotelach.

Sam hotel spełnia wszystkie wymogi stawiane przy tego rodzaju pobycie. Jest czysto, bezpiecznie i kulturalnie. Można by popracować trochę nad jedzeniem, szczególnie nad brakiem owoców i mięsami, gdyż tak naprawdę można było wybierać pomiędzy kurczakami i twardą wołowiną. Jeżeli trend się utrzyma, to może warto namówić hotel do włączenia jednego satelitarnego programu polskiego do oferty TV. Takie drobiazgi jak rozmagnesowujące się karty do drzwi (podczas tygodniowego pobytu wymieniałem je trzykrotnie) to rzecz nie warta uwagi.

Wspaniały hotel dla osób pragnących wypoczywać w spokojnej atmosferze. Hotel położony jest z dala od cywilizacji i nie stanowi problemu po odejściu zaledwie kilka kroków od hotelu aby być zupełnie samemu na plaży płynnie przechodzącej w pustynię. Nawet na basenie hotelowym panuje przyjemna cisza, którą jedynie przez godzinę dziennie psuły włoskie animacje lub krzykliwi turyści. Przemiła i bardzo pomocna obsługa, dla której nie ma problemu nie do rozwiązania. Na terenie hotelu znajduje się centrum nurkowe gdzie można skorzystać w rozsądnej cenie z oferty dotyczącej zarówno nurkowania jak i snorkling'u. W wodzie może nie zobaczymy takiego bogactwa fauny i flory jak u wybrzeży Egiptu, ale dla miłośników (pod)wodnej turystyki na pewno jest to punkt programu godny rozważenia. Kuchnia, jak dla mnie, mogłaby być bardziej regionalna, w ofercie dużo potraw międzynarodowych, co na pewno cieszy osoby podróżujące z dziećmi. Co ważne, jedzenie uzupełniane jest przez cały czas jak otwarta jest restauracja, idąc na pkolację o 22 zjemy to samo i tak samo ciepłe jak o godzinie 19.

Hotel jest przepięknie urządzony. Zachowano klimat Państwa i kulturę mieszkańców. Pokoje są codziennie sprzątane, uzupełniana jest także woda butelkowana 2X0,5l(w cenie pokoju).Obsługa bardzo miła, aczkolwiek nie do końca płynnie posługująca się językiem angielskim.WIFI dostępne w głównym hollu, restauracjach oraz na basenie. Basen jest bardzo duży, dostępne jest także jackuzzy oraz 'swim bar', który jest czynny cały czas (wytyczone sa jedynie godziny podawania w nim alkoholu: 12-15 oraz 18-23 co narzucił sam sułtan)Posiada także brodzik i zjeżdżalnie dla dzieci. Animacje były wyłącznie w języku hiszpańskim, przez co brało w nich udział bardzo niewiele osób. Jeżeli chodzi o walutę to w hotelu można wymienić zarówno dolary jak i euro na riale ( 1Rial to 10zł=1000Baissów) ale w drugą stronę już nie. Nie opłaca się wymieniać na lotnisku waluty, gdyż tam jest dodatkowa prowizja. Bardzo istotną rzeczą jest że NIE PRZYJMUJĄ w ogóle dolarów wyprodukowanych wcześniej niż w 2006r. Jedzenie jest wyjątkowo smaczne, codziennie inne potrawy, świeże warzywa, owoce i pieczywo, ale i dla miłośników słodkości jest to raj na ziemi :) Po każdym posiłku inne rodzaje ciast i ciasteczek. Minusem hotelu jest jego dalekie położenie ( w stosunku do do innych hoteli) od lotniska - ponad 40 minut jazdy. Plaża jest czysta, woda w morzu/oceanie czyściutka - dzięki czemu widać kolorowe rybki i inne żyjątka wodne :)

Plaża w pobliżu hotelu nad morzem piaszczysta, przybrzeżne rafy koralowe dają możliwość obserwacji tutejszej flory i fauny. To nie Egipt i Morze Czerwone, ale też można pooglądać wiele ciekawych gatunków ryb i skorupiaków. Na terenie hotelu olbrzymi basen, dużo leżaków, bar z drinkami. Pokoje przestronne. Szczególnie polecam dla par.

Eastern and Western Salalah — the main attractions of Eastern and Western Salalah during a day trip! A trip to the east. Visiting the fishing village of Taqah - a place with a fascinating castle, surrounded by watchtowers and stone houses. Drive to Khor Rori Lake, where you will find the ruins of the city of Sumhuram - the ancient capital of the Arab frankincense trade, sightseeing. Then a visit to the Wadi Darbat nature reserve, where you can admire majestic views of waterfalls, lakes, hills, caves and lush green vegetation. Drive to Mirbat, a former fishing village with a rich history and a walk through the city streets. Mirbat is also a port with frankincense trade and an ancient Arabian horse breeding center. Then a drive to Al-Mughsail beach, where sea water is thrown out through openings in the limestone rock. To the west of Salalah there are many beautiful beaches and Al-Mughsail is one of the most popular. Along the entire route there are numerous raw, leafless frankincense trees - incense from the province of Zufar is considered to be the best in the world. Day trip. Mountain Safari 4x4 — departure early in the morning to the east (by 4x4 cars). Then a drive to Wadi Darbat - one of the most interesting places in the province of Zufar, a reserve hidden among the hills, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of Khor Rori and Taqah on the coast. During the Khareef - the monsoon season - the water level rises and a portion of it remains in the park all year round, making it an attraction for visitors. The next point on the route is Tawi Atayr (Well of the Birds), one of the most beautiful sinkhole, which is crossed by the limestone rocks of the Salalah hills. The depth of the sinkhole is more than 100 meters (330 feet), and with the help of a local guide you can go down the path to the bottom. Continuation of the journey along the Jebel Samhan Upland to the breathtaking plateau at an altitude of almost 1700 metres above the sea level. Then a drive to the Salalah antigravity point to see how cars in neutral gear automatically go uphill. Camel farm — a visit to the Salalah Farm, located near the Qara Mountains. The tour will start with a presentation of the cultivated fruit and vegetables, prepared by a guide. Then, a walk around the farm and time for taking photos. A short walk through a coconut plantation and tasting a cool coconut drink with fresh bananas straight from a farm. Walk to the farm of camels, which are the main means of transport for the inhabitants of the desert, as well as a source of milk, meat and wool. The guide will show you how to communicate with camels and will tell you about their history, and a farm worker will show you how to milk camels and how to climb the coconut tree to get fruit. Salalah City Tour — a trip to Salalah, the southern city of gardens, a tropical paradise. The tour starts at the archaeological site of Al-Baleed, where archaeological exhibits from the region are presented (open: from Sunday to Thursday: 8.30-20.00, Friday to Saturday: 15.00-20.00). Then you will visit the gardens with lush groves, where coconuts, bananas, papayas and numerous vegetables grow. Time for taking pictures at the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, where you can find beautiful works of art and painted tiles. Finally, a visit to Al-Husn Souq, where incense and traditional burners are sold. Lost City of Ubar and Rub Al-Khali — visiting the lost city of Ubar, where the remains of ancient buildings were discovered in 1992. It is believed that Ubar was inhabited from approx. 2800 BC to approx. 300 AD and was an important centre of frankincense trade before it was absorbed by the rising dunes. There is a small museum presenting archaeological findings. The Rub Al-Khali Desert stretches from the foot of the mountains, creating a huge sandy plain. The region is known for its archaeological sites. The program also includes Wadi Dawkah, where you can see incense trees, then free time in Thumrait. Day trip. A night in the Rub Al-Khali desert — an unforgettable night in the Rub Al-Khali - the world's largest sandy desert. In the afternoon, depart in Jeeps towards the desert.
