Arrival to KATHMAND (1,400 m a.s.l.) - the capital of Nepal. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time to replenish your trekking equipment and lunch on your own. Welcome dinner. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
3rd KATHMAND DAY - LUKLA - PHAKDING ↗ 208 m
Breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Flight from Kathmandu to LUKLA (2886 m). Lukla is a small town with an airport that is considered to be one of the most difficult in the world. There are several tea houses, cottages, hotels and general stores in the town. Trekking from Lukla to Phakding (2,640 m) is a gentle ascent of a mountain on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River. The path descends and joins the Mount Everest route. Hike overlooking the valley, at the other end of which is Kusum Kang peak (6,367 m). We will approach the Dudh Koshi River, pass the Mani Wall reaching PHAKDING. Lunch at the teahouse on the way. Accommodation in a lodge or tea room. On the route of our trekking, we will only use such accommodation. It is something like a mountain chalet. Dinner and overnight in Phakding. Route: 25 minutes of flight and approx. 4 hours hiking.
4. DAY. PHAKDING - NAMCHE BAZAAR ↗ 1179 m
Breakfast. Check out. Wandering and crossing rivers with characteristic high bridges. Behind the village of Monjo (2,800 m) is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park, which was created to protect and preserve the mountain environment. Then climb quite steeply to NAMCHE BAZAAR (3440 m above sea level). Lunch on the way. If the weather is fine, Mount Everest will be seen in the distance for the first time. Namche Bazaar is the main commercial village in the Khumbu region and has a busy market on Saturdays. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Namche Bazaar. Walking time: approx. 4-5 hours
5. DAY. NAMCHE BAZAAR ↗ 474 m
Breakfast. This is a day of rest in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursions in the area. Acclimatization during the Himalayan trekking is very important. Our guides and leaders watch over it. The Namche Bazaar is tucked between two ridges in the middle of gigantic peaks and is full of chalets, tea rooms and souvenir shops, with great views. It is the perfect place for a day of rest to acclimatize to the high altitude before heading towards the tiny village of Tengboche. Acclimatization trip to the Khunde Hospital founded by Sir Edmund Hillary or an hour-long walk to Syangboche (3800 m). The selection will be made by the guide together with the leader. The Everest View Hotel is situated above the Namche Bazaar, with magnificent views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru. You can also admire good views from the National Park Center. Return to the lodge. Lunch. Free time to rest. Dinner. Overnight in Namchka Bazaar. Walking time: approx. 2-3 hours
DAY 6. NAMCHE BAZAAR - TENGBOCHE ↗ 968 m
Breakfast. Check out. Then trek from Namche Bazaar to TENGBOCHE (3867 m above sea level). From Namche Bazaar, the trail runs along the slope of the valley high above the Dudh Koshi River. We have the first really good views of the stunning Khumbu peaks before our eyes, including Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru. Passing several villages and numerous tea houses, the trail descends steeply to the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River in Phunki Tenga (3,250 m). Tengboche is also famous for the legendary Buddhist monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. Lunch on the way. Access to Tengboche. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Tengboche. Walking time: approx. 5-6 hours
7th DAY. TENGBOCHE - DINGBOCHE ↗ 730 m
Breakfast. Check out. Then hike from Tengboche to DINGBOCHE (4260 m). Gradual descent through the forest, crossing the Imja Khola River, and gradual ascent to the village of Pangboche, which is across the street from Ama Dablam (6,856m) and offers exceptional mountain views, with the Gompa, Mani walls and scattered pine trees in the foreground. Gradually climbing up, we come across dense forests. This part of the trail is full of thorn bushes and juniper bushes. Another 2.5 hours hiking leads to Dingboche. Lunch at one of the lodges on the trail. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Dingboche. Walking time: approx. 5 hours
8th DAY. DINGBOCHE ↗ 393 m
Breakfast. Rest in Dingboche in order to acclimatize and explore the area. Here you can climb the Nangkartsang Gompa steeply to admire the rare, magnificent view of Mount Makalu (8,463m) along with Lhotse, Island Peak, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. Another option is a small trip to Chukhung which takes approx. 2.5 hours. up and 1.5 hours to return to Dingboche. The selection will be made by the guide together with the leader. Return to the lodge for lunch. Free time to rest. Dinner. Overnight in Dingboche. Walking time: approx. 4 hours
9. DAY. DINGBOCHE - THUKLA - LOBUCHE ↗ 609 m
Breakfast. Check out. Hike to LOBUCHE (4,930m above sea level) via THUKLA (4,620m above sea level), from where you have a panoramic view of the mountains along the way. The tea room in Thukla is a good place for lunch before wandering the boulders of the terminal moraine of the glacier, which is why we will eat our meal here. At the top of this climb are many stone caves, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who died while climbing Mount Everest. The path then climbs gently along the glacier to finally reach the cluster of houses in LOBUCHE. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Lobuche. Walking time: approx. 5-6 hours
10. DAY. LOBUCHE - GORAKSHEP - EVEREST BASE CAMP - GORAKSHEP ↗ 431 m
Breakfast. Check out. Trekking from Lobuche (4900 m) to GORAKSHEP (5180 m). Lunch in Gorakshep. Then trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP (5364 m above sea level). The route passes through a glacier and snow-covered rocks. There you can see many small frozen lakes around Everest Base Camp. Return to Gorakshep. Free time for regeneration. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Gorakshep. Journey time: approx. 3-4 hours
11. DAY. GORAKSHEP – KALA PATTAR – GORAKSHEP – PHERICHE ↗ 535 m
Early in the morning, climb slightly to the KALA PATTAR (5545 m) to enjoy the sunrise view. From Kala Pattar you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest and many other mountain peaks such as Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, Mount Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Mount Thamserku and many more. Return to Gorakshep for breakfast. Check out. Hike to PHERICHE (4243 m). There are foreign volunteer doctors in Pheriche who are always available to provide medical care to the trekkers and the local people. Lunch. Accommodation. Dinner. Overnight in Pheriche. Walking time: approx. 6-7 hours
12. DAY. PHERICHE - NAMCHE BAZAAR ↗ 870 m
Breakfast. Check out. Today will be a difficult day, almost 7-8 hours, to reach NAMCHE BAZAAR (3440 m). The route goes down through several suspension bridges. The trail runs along a forest path overgrown with silver fir and blue pine. Lunch on the way. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, continue until finally to Namche Bazaar for a rest. Accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Namche Bazaar. Walking time: approx. 7-8 hours
DAY 13. NAMCHE BAZAAR - LUKLA ↗ 851 m
Breakfast. Check out. A long and final hike towards LUKLA. Going down the long road, crossing the bridge and on towards Monjo, then down to Phakding for lunch. On the return, an opportunity to admire the lush green scenery as you pass the amazing mountain scenery and the Sherpa village. Accommodation. Gala dinner and overnight in LUKLA. Walking time: approx. 6-8. at
14. DAY. LUKLA - KATHMANDU
Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to the airport in LUKLI and flight to KATHMAND. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation. Free time to rest, shop and explore the capital of Nepal on your own. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight. Flight time: 25 min.
15. DAY. KATHMANDU
Breakfast. A full-day tour of Kathmandu's World Heritage Sites. The program includes the Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple - one of the oldest in Nepal, Durbar Square in Kathmandu - the historic heart of the city and the Boudhanath Stupa - the largest in Nepal and one of the largest Buddhist stupa inscribed on the UNESCO list. Lunch on your own. In the evening, a farewell dinner with a cultural performance in a traditional Nepalese restaurant. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 16. KATHMANDU
