Breakfast. Drive and ascend TROU AUX CERFS, a 605 m high dormant volcano that was formed 2 million years ago. The crater is forested and you can see a small lake at its bottom. Transfer to CUREPIPE. The first point on the tour is DOMAINE DES AUBINEAUX, the colonial home of the first tea growers, built in 1872. Visit the BOIS CHERI tea plantation, where you can taste the local tea. Then drive to the LA VANILLE RESERVE, which is home to iguanas and Nile crocodiles, as well as giant tortoises, brought from the Seychelles. During the visit, you will be able to observe the feeding of the animals and even take part in it yourself! There is also an insectarium in the reserve with rare species of insects from around the world. An opportunity to see a collection of fossils of extinct animals, such as the dodo bird.
