Bardzo fajny, przyjemny hotel. Codziennie sprzątane pokoje, czysto i przyjemnie. Wyżywienie bardzo smaczne, przede wszystkim świeże produkty. Śniadanka bardzo dobre, a na obiadokolacjach każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Duży komfort to strefa SPA - basen na zewnątrz z zimną wodą, basen wewnątrz obiektu z ciepłą wodą, basen wewnątrz z zimną wodą, sauna i łaźnia turecka - idealnie do wypoczynku po intensywnym zwiedzaniu , nieprzewidywalnej wyspy jaką jest Madera! Obsługa sympatyczna i pomocna. Bardzo fajne miejsce , zdecydowanie do polecenia pozostałym klientom.

Hotel z przepięknym widokiem z restauracji oraz tarasu na ocean oraz sąsiadujące wyspy, w razie niepogody ma basen wewnątrz budynku z ciepłą wodą oraz saunę, miła obsługa kelnerów, recepcji, sprzątaczek. Dbają o czystość, jednak uważam, że pokój mógłby być sprzątany dokładniej.

Hotel dla osób chcących widzieć przestrzeń i których nie przeraża, że wszędzie jest "pod górkę" ale taka jest cała Madera. Położenie dla mnie-fantastyczne, tarasowo na wysokim klifie Oceanu. W przeciwieństwie do innych lokalizacji nie czuje się przytłoczenia miastem lub obiektem hotelowym. Leniuszki albo nie lubiący dużo chodzić nie mają czego szukać w Canico ani na Maderze. Przyroda wynagradza wysiłek. Trzy obiekty hotelowe w jednym zarządzie dają możliwość wyboru różnego standardu i widoków. Duży taras śniadaniowy- bezcenny. Dlatego przyjechaliśmy do tego hotelu 3 raz ! Możliwość obserwacji wschodu Słońca z balkonu w Hotelu Orchid -cudowna.

Świetny hotel, widok na morze, wszędzie bardzo czysto, obsługa miła. Jedzenie w restauracji smaczne, świeże, dość spory wybór, jedyny mankament tego hotelu to płatne napoje do kolacji. Ja rozumiem alkohol, ale żeby nawet za wodę płacić, wg mnie bardzo słabe. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa kelnerska, szczególnie pan Simplicio, zawsze uśmiechnięty i chętny do pomocy. Blisko przystanek autobusowy i autobus do Funchal. Nie zdarzyło się nam, aby nie przyjechał. Kilka sklepów, restauracji w pobliżu. Z dodatkowych płatności to jeszcze sejf płatny i jakiś podatek na dzień dobry w recepcji trzeba zapłacić. Pierwszy raz się z czymś takim spotkałam, zawsze wykupując cały pobyt / pakiet w biurze, takie rzeczy były wliczone. Generalnie, mimo wszystko jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu i polecam Maderę!

Hotel pięknie położony na klifie, pokoje czyste, codziennie sprzątane, wygodne łóżka, ja miałam w nieremontowanej części ale było ok i z pięknym widokiem na ocean oraz z aneksem kuchennym , wyżywienie bardzo dobre z możliwością wyboru, codziennie coś nowego, kilka tarasów więc można znaleść miejsce na spokojny relaks, promenady spacerowe z obu stron hotelu.

Hotel pięknie położony, pokoje z widokiem na ocean - rzeczywiście takie są. Mieszkaliśmy w starszej "niebieskiej" części kompleksu i tu niestety widać "ząb czasu" vs część nowsza. Pokoje mocno postarzone jakością, wykończeniem, łazienka niezbyt higieniczna. Dość cienkie ściany - słychać dokoładnie co się dzieje obok. Codzienne sprzątanie oczywiscie jest i to solidne, ale jednak chyba to za mało, żeby nazwać hotel 4-gwiazdkowym. Niestety takich informacji dot. jakości pokoju nie było, gdyby były raczej na pewno zdecydowalibyśmy się na część z pokojami zaczynającymi się od "4", a nie "3". Dość monotonne i niezbyt wyszukane jedzienie w restauracji - na 7 dni, właściwie 2-3 kolacje miały to "coś" maderskiego - zarówno pod kątem jakści i różnorodności. Również przy tak dużym hotelu - tylko 4 ekspresy do kawy to zdecydowanie za mało - kolejki poranne nie były jakoś pasujące do 4 gwiazdek... Obsługa recepcja, restauracja za to super, pomocna, miła, cierpliwa, szczególnie dla kogoś, kto I raz był na Maderze.

Okolica hotelu ma wszystko co potrzeba, czyli sklepy, restauracje, wypożyczalnie aut i przystanek komunikacji miejskiej do Funchal. Śmiało rezerwować i jechać na wypoczynek.

Czysto, ładnie, schludnie i smacznie :) Ale w części Rocamar warto by było odświeżyć trochę pokoje hotelowe i je doposażyć… a na posiłkach dać większą zmienność potraw z koniecznie stałą częścią dla kuchni regionalnej. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa, wieczorem muzyka na żywo, basen, sauny, siłownia, spacery, wycieczki, bardzo przyjemny pobyt.

Hotel pięknie położony, polecam pokój z widokiem na ocean ( poranki ze wschodem słońca niesamowite). Ja byłam w części Royal Orchid i pokój studio z widokiem na ocean był taki, jak na zdjęciu. Pokój czysty, codziennie sprzątany. Trochę hałas dochodził z siłowni. Wyżywienie dobre, może bez rewelacji, ale myślę, że każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Bardzo miła obsługa w restauracji, a w hotelu nie odczuwa się dużej liczby gości.

Jedzenie przeważnie niedoprawione, niesłone ( na szczęście są przyprawniki)- ale świeże. Jak ktoś boi się gołębi, to uwaga, wlatują one na salę konsumpcyjną i spacerują pod stolikami. Jeżeli nastawiacie się na zwiedzanie wyspy to atutem jest to, że obiadokolacja jest do 21.30. Niestety siłownia tylko do 18.

Visiting: the sanctuary of Our Lady on Monte hill, tropical garden with Madeira's relic endemic vegetation. The picturesque mountain road leads to the heart of the island, where from panoramic terraces of Eira do Serrado you can admire the breathtaking view of the mountain precipices. A drive to a secluded village, the Valley of the Nuns, tasting the local specialty - liqueurs with chestnut, chocolate and passion fruit flavors. The route leads to the other side of the mountain range, to Câmara de Lobos - a typical fishing village with a charming port, Winston Churchill's favourite place. A drive to Pico de Arieiro - the third largest peak of Madeira (1818 m), from which, in good weather, you can see the crown of the island and the spectacular mountain landscapes. A drive through the world's largest valleys, covered with ancient Laurisilva laurel trees, to Ribeiro Frio village with a state-owned trout farm. A visit to the heritage park of traditional houses with thatched roofs in the village of Santana, admiring the cliff landscape of the peninsula of St Lawrence, vantage points with a panorama of Eagle Rock, the islands of Porto Santo, Desertas and the runway of the airport supported on 180 columns. Evening with fado and Madeiran folklore — dinner in a traditional restaurant comprised of specialties of the cuisine: espetada (grilled meat) with polenta (fried cornmeal), soup, salad, boiled vegetables, dessert. The dinner is accompanied by the performance of a folk band (singing and dancing, traditional instruments) and then a concert of Portuguese fado songs performed by one of the best female singers on the island. Levada — Madeira is famous for its canals, which provide every corner of the island with water from the mountains. They were built here already in the days of the first Portuguese colonizers. Along the canals many trekking routes of varying difficulty were created. Please bring: sports shoes, clothing suited to changing weather, drinks and lunch. The prices include transport and the care of an English-speaking mountain guide.
Levada Rabacal — level: average, approx. 13 km, trekking time: approx. 4 h, on the route: the high waterfall Risco and cascade "25 springs" consisting of many waterfalls, the UNESCO-protected laurel forest Laurissilva. Funchal — a visit to the city market where the inhabitants of Madeira meet. Located in the heart of the center of Funchal, the market offers the best fruits, vegetables and flowers on the island and local gastronomy and crafts. A walk through the historic city center: the port area, the 15th-century Manueline style cathedral, the Madeira parliament building, the citadel of St. Lawrence and the statue of Józef Piłsudski. Levada to Furado — trekking on the levadas, unique irrigation channels. Level: medium, approx. 11 km, trekking time: approx. 5 hours. Route starts at Ribeiro Frio in the commune of Santana. Along the way there are wonderful views of the valleys and the peaks of the island. Stop and lunch at the old Herdade do Lombo das Faias farm. Continuation of trekking along the levada to Furado, an opportunity to admire the endemic flora and fauna of the laurel forest (so-called Laurissilva). Trekking ends with a descent to the Portela village. One should take suitable clothing and trekking footwear.
