Jedzenie średniej jakości, pokoje czyste ale czesci wspólne mają nie miły zapach, brudne ściany i dywany ( stęchlizna) , uszkodzone elementy. Obsługa miła , robi co może. Hotel położony w dzielnicy hotelowej, w pobliżu bary, restauracje, sklepy, wypożyczalnie aut. Około 3 km od centrum Funchal- bardzo przyjemna trasa. Niedaleko przystanek autobusowy i za 2 euro można dotrzeć do centrum. Bardzo duże pokoje, łazienka ogromna: prysznic, wanna, w umywalki, bidet, WC. Kosmetyki w łazience Rituals- duzy plus za to, tara z widokem na ulicę i ocean. Mieliśmy wykupione 2 posiłki, jedzenie bardzo dobre, duży wybór, pyszne ciasta, dużo owoców, do śniadania szampan. Na kolacji zawsze zupa, 2 rodzaje ryb, owoce morza, dania mięsne też są codziennie, ciasta, owoce,naprawdę bardzo bogate menu. Napoje dodatkowo płatne i tu się zatrzymam, ceny wypadają spore: woda 0.25 3 euro, lampka wina 4.5 euro, sok 3 euro, sok wyciskany 5 euro. Kawa przy śniadaniu z expresu kiepska, rozpuszczalna za to w mieście wszędzie podają wyśmienita i kosztuje od 1.5 euro. Hotel posiada podziemny bezpłatny parking, to duże ułatwienie jak się wypożyczalnia auto, bo parkingi obok hotelu platne. Zostawiasz samochód i wjeżdżasz windą na górę do pokoju. Polecam wypożyczyć małe auto automat bo drogi kręte i wąskie, nasz Smarcik sprawdził się wyśmienicie, cena za 4 dni z pełnym pakietem ubezpieczenia 230 euro- polecam się potargować wyspa mała więc można cała objechać. Basen hotelowy ok, nie było potrzeby zajmować o 7 rano ale kto na Maderze leży od rana przy basenie, szkoda czasu, to jest tak cudowna wyspa, że każdy widok zapiera dech w piersiach. Bylismy tydzień, 6 dni zwiedzania i chodzenia po levadach, 1 dzień odpoczynku i relaks przy basenie. Po codziennych wycieczkach staralismy sie skoczyc do basenu i na lezaczek godzine przed kolacja i zawsze były wolne miejsca. Bardzo polecam hotel: doskonała baza wypadowa, dobre jedzenie, jeszcze jakby kawa przy śniadaniu była lepsza to byłoby idealnie

Hotel bardzo przyjemny, położony wprawdzie trochę z dala od centrum, osiąganego jednak bez problemu czy to na piechotę czy transportem miejskim. W pobliżu hotelu usytuowane liczne sklepy i restauracje. Wyżywienie w hotelu zróżnicowane co do jakości: śniadania bardzo dobre, obiadokolacje słabsze zwłaszcza jeśli chodzi o dania na ciepło, ale mimo tego można było zawsze znaleźć coś dla siebie. Przydzielony pokój duży z centralnym widokiem na ocean zgodnie z rezerwacją. Obsługa pokoju (sprzątanie, wymiana ręczników) bez zastrzeżeń. Niestety mankamentem pokoju były zapachy z kuchni, której wentylacja usytuowana była zapewne w tym samym pionie (pokój na 9 piętrze). Po powrocie do pokoju dopiero intensywne wietrzenie pozwalało ich się pozbyć .

Wspaniała , przemiła obsługa hotelowa zawsze uśmiechnięta i służąca pomocą. Pokoje duże przestronne, czyste, duże wygodne łóżka. Po przylocie w późnych godzinach nocnych w pokoju czekała na nas kolacja. Łazienki wyposażone w 2 umywalki, kosmetyki, szlafroki, kapcie. Posiłki bardzo smaczne, urozmaicone bardzo duży wybór owoców i ciast napoje do kolacji w przystępnej cenie. 2 baseny, leżaki, ręczniki..... można by dużo wymieniać plusów. Pokoje sprzątane są codziennie, wygodne lożko, nie bylo problemow z bezsennoscia. Wyżywienie dla mnie jako osoby dla której nie jest to aspekt najważniejszy, b. smaczne dużo owoców, codziennie na obiadokolacje mogłam zjeść rybę co było dodatkowym atutem, salatki nie sa zaleta tego hotelu. Z basenu wewnętrznego korzystaliśmy nie ma szału ale gdy padało mogliśmy popływać i to było najważniejsze do plaży daleko ale my i tak nie korzystamy z plaży tylko na basenie zewnętrznym pływaliśmy. Wieczorem mozna było napić się np piwa w barze wewnętrznym słuchając muzyki na żywo (nie potrafię powiedzieć czy codziennie była muzyka na żywo ponieważ nie codziennie korzystałam z tej mozliwosci ale chyba tak). Animacji brak, może są dostępne w sezonie my byliśmy w marcu i hotel stanowił dostanala bazę wypadową do zwiedzania Funchal.

Hotel nie jest pierwszej świeżości, ale jest w porządku. Jako główne pozytywy wskazałbym: - Bezpłatny i wygodny parking podziemny, - Przyjazna i pomocna obsługa, codzienne sprzątanie pokojów - Dobre położenie zarówno pod kątem spacerów, biegania, jak i wyjazdów na wycieczki Gorzej oceniłbym natomiast posiłki (wykupiłem śniadania+kolacje). Jedzenie (zwłaszcza podczas kolacji) było często przesuszone i średnio smaczne. Czasami letnie/zimne. W konsekwencji nawet mimo stosunkowo bogatego wyboru na kolację, czesto nie znajdywaliśmy nic dla siebie. Śniadania były lepsze, typowo hotelowe, ale w porządku. Następnym razem wykupiłbym śniadania, a pozostałe posiłki organizował poza hotelem. Z uwag dodatkowych: Nie korzystałem z animacji, strefy SPA, ani basenów, więc do tych aspektów się nie odnoszę. W niektórych częściach hotelu trwa remont, który nie jest bardzo uciążliwy, ale jednego dnia był (zapowiedziany wcześniej) brak wody bieżącej przez kilka godzin. Z drugiej strony, to daje nadzieję, że hotel będzie odświeżony w przyszłości.

The route leads to the other side of the mountain range, to Câmara de Lobos - a typical fishing village with a charming port, Winston Churchill's favourite place. Evening with fado and Madeiran folklore — dinner in a traditional restaurant comprised of specialties of the cuisine: espetada (grilled meat) with polenta (fried cornmeal), soup, salad, boiled vegetables, dessert. Levada — Madeira is famous for its canals, which provide every corner of the island with water from the mountains. They were built here already in the days of the first Portuguese colonizers. Along the canals many trekking routes of varying difficulty were created. Please bring: sports shoes, clothing suited to changing weather, drinks and lunch. The prices include transport and the care of an English-speaking mountain guide.
Levada Rabacal — level: average, approx. 13 km, trekking time: approx. 4 h, on the route: the high waterfall Risco and cascade "25 springs" consisting of many waterfalls, the UNESCO-protected laurel forest Laurissilva. Funchal — a visit to the city market where the inhabitants of Madeira meet. Located in the heart of the center of Funchal, the market offers the best fruits, vegetables and flowers on the island and local gastronomy and crafts. A walk through the historic city center: the port area, the 15th-century Manueline style cathedral, the Madeira parliament building, the citadel of St. Lawrence and the statue of Józef Piłsudski. Visiting the famous "Old Blandy Wine Lodge" winery, getting to know the production process of the exceptional Madeira wine, which has its unique taste due to its aging in oak barrels. Tasting. A drive to the Pico dos Barcelos (355 m) lookout point, which offers a panoramic view of the entire city. Half-day trip. Levada to Furado — trekking on the levadas, unique irrigation channels. Level: medium, approx. 11 km, trekking time: approx. 5 hours. Route starts at Ribeiro Frio in the commune of Santana. Along the way there are wonderful views of the valleys and the peaks of the island. Stop and lunch at the old Herdade do Lombo das Faias farm. Continuation of trekking along the levada to Furado, an opportunity to admire the endemic flora and fauna of the laurel forest (so-called Laurissilva). Trekking ends with a descent to the Portela village. One should take suitable clothing and trekking footwear.
